Scary Movie 4 (2006)
see Saw 1 or 2, The Village AND War of the Worlds or else don't bother.
Seriously, you need to see those three movie or else don't worry about the movie being entertaining in the least. Scary Movie 4 sullies name of The Scary Movie/Date Movie franchise. David Zucker has completely lost it. The other Scary Movies are irrelevant to this one. The acting is sub-par and there was practically no plot.
Dr. Phil, Shaq, and a butt load of other celebrities make appearances that have nothing to do with the film. Charlie Sheen is a prime example of this occurring.
Oh and another thing. The DVD I rented was the "not rated" version. I think the reason why it was not rated was because the MPAA was getting too tired of watching this talentless crap. Seriously, this movie is perfect if you are Mormon. Scary Movie 4 is a bunch of caca dookie...oops, did I say a swear word? Even this was more risqué than the language of the movie.
The War at Home (2005)
"Grounded for Life" deja vu
This show is not creative at all. It is a clone of the "Grounded For Life" show Fox had on about 2 years ago. Recycled plot lines, a whiny difficult teenage daughter, a stupid father, and a mother whose wild past sometimes catches up just means a predictable sit-com that won't last another 2 season at the most.
Additionally, the show also rips off ideas from "8 Simple Rules". Its a little more raunchy than "Everybody Loves Raymond" and the children actually are important to the cast. The show itself contains spoilers if you have seen any of the above mentioned titles. By the way the mom, Vicky, bears a striking resemblance to Francine on American Dad.
