The Box (2009)
Should have never been more than an episode.
I saw the trailer and thought, this could be interesting... i was wrong. I love Cameron Diaz & James Marsden, but something wasn't right with this film, i hated Cameron's accent, it was uneventful and just plain silly, it works as and episode, the story was told in an episode of The Twilight Zone, but it doesn't have enough meat on the bones to be a full feature. The story that a family struggling with money issues get rich if they push a button and that leads to a man deaths is interesting, but the Sci-Fi part baffled me, i'm a big Sci-Fi fan but the Sci-Fi in this film made it worse, a whole lot worse. i honestly think that it would be better if they'd skip the Sci-Fi part, just have it a creepy killer dude that was offering them money to kill from the distant and become rick... I would avoid this film if i were you.
One Tree Hill (2003)
Old School One Tree Hill
I loved season 1-6 of OTH. The first 6 season's are legendary teen TV. Old School One Tree Hill can be compared to the "life-changing," genre defining shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Dawson's Creek, My So-Called Life and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. One Tree Hill was realistic, sexy, fun and had loads of lovable characters. One Tree Hill has even produced their very own super-couples in Nathan and Haley & Lucas and Peyton, just like 90210 produced Dylan & Brenda and David & Donna, Buffy produced Angel & Buffy. The story line is compelling and interesting. They make the Bad guy turn good guy story line seem fresh and just tackle almost every teen issue i can think of.
But then there is season 7 and soon season 8. This has to stop, the story lines are tired, the freshness has worn off, the spark is gone. the center character that the show originally surrounded, the storyteller is gone, along with his wife and child. Brooke is staying Tree Hill for no apparent reason, why hasn't she left? she claims it is because of her love for the town and that it's home. But you can find a new home. Nathan & Haley should move to so that Nathan can get more basketball opportunities and so on, the reason they are staying makes no sense and we all just want a happy ending for our characters not a dragged out soapy show that no one likes.
One Tree Hill should be remembered forever, but if it keeps on going like this it will end up in the trash.
The best :d
Friends, My favorite show i have seen all the series about million times, i still cry over the 4 last shows, and laugh of all the jokes, i still love every twist, i love the London trip, i love the fact that they didn't cover up Lisa Kudrows(phoebe's) pregnancy but instead they put a osom story line full of humor and what we all love i carrying my brothers baby, that line still cracks me up, i love all about the show maybe I'm addicted or something but it's the only TV show or movie that i have ever gotten this attached, why is that? it's because of the incredible writing how they give comedy a whole new name, but i wanna talk about 2 of the characters / actors,
Chandler Bing . Chandler just cracks me up, he was just pure genius, how can writers find this stuff up? he is just so funny, he is with out a doubt my favorite male character, now something about Chandler he's was Ross friend from college that is his connection to the group, Monica's teen crush, but Chandler also said she was fat and that resulted into Chandler losing his toe, later he Hooke's up with Monica and the get married and have adopted twins, but we all know that don't we?. he is one of the 7 links what make friends "friends". and your probably wondering why i said seven thats because of Gunther i just love that guy. Matthew Perry. ill make this short, he's a funny dude has had his up and downs, drugs and problems, but i really like him as an actor. Ross Geller . He has this kind of silly and i like it :') . he is an "pailiantolabla-bla" i have no idea what his jobs name is but as joey says your work is dinosaurs. but as we all say we miss friends but its over and we love them
it could contain spoiler . i don't know?
I was disappointed that they skipped Quidditch. i wanted to see a bit of that . like when Ron was heaving trouble with it and stuff, Wesley is the King!
i really agree Teaker1228 on what he said. the movie was nothing when you have read the book. but the movie the fight and when voldemort showed up . and what happened to harry then . it was all so cool . but i gave it three because of the story and the book . if i had not read the books then the movie would have been great . like Teaker1228 said . The first Harry Potter book was just over 300 pages in length. The movie was roughly 152 minutes according to the DVD in front of me at this moment. The fifth book was 870 pages. and this is true to Overall, it was like they took the book, cut out all of the pages, added their own to the pile, and then pasted it all into an order that they saw fitting. You'll notice however, that the film did in fact get a 4 from me. You may ask why. That answer is simple. The soundtrack and special effects were amazing. Fight scenes were rather enjoyable, and the music was wonderful. Really, I think the people responsible for these things should have been the only one to receive any recognition. So if you've read and enjoyed the books, this movie really isn't for you. If you've read the books, enjoyed them, but are there for special effects, you may enjoy it. If you've never read the books and your knowledge is based purely on the movies, you'll probably find this one an enjoyable addition to the series. so it was alright
