I really thought this was one of the most effective short horror films i've seen in a while. The cinematography and lighting were beautiful, and the black and white looked great. Typically, black and white is a choice that many directors stay away from, but i think it was a risk the director was willing to take for the tone of this film. It works very very well. The sound editing was also superb. I love the loud droning noises when a new image flashes on the screen, it made me jump a few times. Also, that ending was dark. I won't spoil anything, but it was truly a twisted ending. Congrats to everyone who put this film together, it was fantastic!

Ridiculous in the best way

This short film is nuts. I mean that in the best and nicest way. It had so much more comedy than the first, but I liked it. It didnt feel too over bearing in my opinion. The cinematography also worked very well. Banger soundtrack. I was jamming out the whole time. As a sequel, it does everything you would want it to do. Higher kill count with more violence and gore. Better editing, better cinematography, better pacing, better everything. It didn't try to be too over the top with its kills, but i appreciate that. Another thing i noticed in this film was the color correcting/saturation of this film. Rewind 2 is a much more vibrant and colorful film. Rewind 1984 had a very brown and grey color palette, while Rewind 2 is kind of all over the place. In rewind 2, the characters wear more colorful outfits and it works very well. I saw lots of improvement in this film.
