i saw one more time this movie, a comedy of one of the most prolific directors of Boca do Lixo, Ody Fraga, with a dirty photograph participation of Carlos Reichenbach, yes, it's a dirty picture, filmed on a "Cortiço", one big suburban place, a comedy without shame or guilty, a humoristic portrait of São Paulo's lumpen-proletariat, prostitutes, unemployeds, dealers, two cinema students with all the political discussion of cinema novo, that obviously failed on the reality of the habitat. I really like these kind of movie, the world must know about a cinema that is discriminated in his own country, the pornochanchada, and A Dama da Zona is one typical representant of this big veil of Brazilian cinema.

I start to see this film on Christmas day (25th December 2009) and i love it, me and my wife, very anarchic, doses of comedy (chanchada), great performances of roberto miranda (as nic), that plays a beatnik life with her beautiful and young girlfriend, benjamin cattan, the attorney Carvalho, that gives us a show of "chanchada" feeling, and the beautiful meyri vieira, as Sandra, the owner of the house, a film of actors, were the text and the situations are more important than the productions values(money), third world cinema, political, anarchic, sentimental, funny,we enjoy to much, good moments in front of a screen, one more from the Boca period of the great director Carlos Reichenbach.

great movie!!! from BOCA DO LIXO, with the participation of Ody Fraga on the cast, another great figure of the cinematographic scene of São Paulo. One gem of the exploitation cinema of Brazil, Quentin Tarantino must see the movies of Tony Vieira, great, genial!!! Many Brazilian beauties, including Claudette Joubert, the queen of these Brazilian scene, who plays a mysterious woman on a Yamaha Motorcycle. The pontuation of the movie is very good, the image is dirty like any low budget film, and it's great, authentic cinema of the Third World, few money and great solutions! The world must discover BOCA DO LIXO, Tony Vieira, Ody Fraga, Jean Garret, Carlos Reichenbach, Ozualdo Candeias, Zé do Caixão, and many many others!!!
