It truly amazes me that a network could cancel a show like this. They claim the ratings were never there, but then why is it that everyone from high school to mid-20s talks about this show as being even funnier than the Simpsons? During my four years in college, everyone did Family Guy quotes. If the ratings were never there, maybe it was because viewers could never FIND the show because they kept changing its time slot every couple weeks. It really doesn't get funnier than this show. Thank God it's being released as DVD.

This show is much better than you would expect from the WB. It is about a high school girl who has to deal with all the anxieties of growing up, including her weird, semi-dysfunctional family. The acting is superb, especially from Julia Sweeney who plays the wacked out mother. "Maybe It's Me" is definitely worth watching. Just hope that the WB doesn't cancel it.
