Love the style.. but packed full of filler
8 July 2022
Had a similar feel to Spiderman & was done really well. But it's just too slow & absolutely chock full of filler. Take out the tiny bit of action & repackage it as a family drama. My kids aren't enjoying it either, so it's not an age thing. Missed opportunity!

Good show to watch with the family.. but, omg, the food waste is terrible
31 October 2021
We're enjoying it as a family, but the sheer quantity of food waste leaves a bad taste in the mouth. It'd feel more responsible if they disclosed what happened to the food afterwards, and you'd hope that a majority of the ingredients was past its sell-by date. If there's a series 2 can the production team please bear this in mind.

Thumbs up from my 8yr old.. an 'okay' from my 11yr old.. parents enjoyment is purely from seeing the kids enjoy it.

It was somewhat cheeky of cinemas to charge 'Event' pricing for this *pre-recorded* arena live show from earlier this year.. it wasn't a special live event for cinemas. I kinda resent paying over £11 a ticket.. it'd been much more appropriate to charge standard film prices (and allow you to use money off vouchers, etc).

The interactive portion is simply 10 multi-choice questions over the course of the video.. the app is offline, so means absolutely nothing, and you don't even see your score at the end.

During the (previously live arena) show, kids picked from the audience play some mini-games.. those would have been great to have in the app & left my kids wanting to play them too. That would have really added to the experience.

If this had actually been live and much more interactive (Q&A over the app maybe?, mini-games that contribute to the tribe score, a quiz that actually fed back answers, etc), then I'd have really respected them for pulling it off. If they can do live ballet, musicals and plays, why wasn't this live too?

Overall, it was good for an 6-8yr old.. and the enjoyment quickly tails off the older you get.

It really isn't great.. I'm not sure what the high rating reviews have watched, but it wasn't this film!

Enjoyable family viewing

Yes, it's a bit of a copy of Taskmaster, but this is a family friendly show, and was great to watch together. Hoping it'll return for another series soon!

6yr old daughter loves this show
9 January 2019
The first 2 seasons are pretty good, even for a parent to have on in the background.. Season 3 however is pretty bad from what I've seen so far.. They recast everyone, acting is bad, and the voice work sounds like they recorded it in a cupboard! Still, my daughter still seems to like it.. baby unicorns save the rating ;)
