The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
The Ending To An Amazing Saga: What A Superhero Story Should Be *SPOILERS*
THIS IS COMPLETELY PACKED FULL OF SPOILERS. I'm just gonna flat out say it, because this movie was completely jaw-dropping. First off, the acting... Christian Bale is probably going to be the most underrated of all of the actors in this movie. We're just so used to him as Batman, that you think he wouldn't exactly be one of the best parts of it. Let me assure you in saying HE WAS. Let's not compare Hardy's Bane to Ledger's Joker, two completely different characters. Hardy proved is acting ability as always through the sound of his voice, and his eyes. I understood everything he said.
The acting in this movie is so intense, that you could consider this summer popcorn flick to be an Academy Awardworthy movie. You have the greatest old and new talents mixed into the brew, and it's extremely character driven. Each actor IS the character they're playing. This movie will forever be compared to THE AVENGERS. Which one was better? Well it depends on what your taste is. This movie made my heart race, and put tears in my eyes. It was the true story of a true superhero. The thing that makes Batman a superhero, is the way he can overcome his weaknesses, and prove himself.
In Nolan's universe, the definition of a superhero isn't the body, or the powers. It's simply the will, humanity and heart of a person. This movie has gone farther than I have ever seen in terms of villainy. It dives so deep into the wretchedness of a conquered Gotham, that it feels like all hope is lost. Catwoman was amazing. The best part of this movie to me was Michael Caine. Good mother of god.
Sure, it had its slow moments, but toward the end it really paid off. There were so many twists and turns, that it felt like I was being stabbed in the back as much as Batman. The soundtrack lacks in the beginning, but toward the end it really just makes you think of the series as a whole.
The movie was packed with heart racing moments. I was discussing this movie minutes ago outside the theater, and he had a perfect example of what the trilogy covered. Batman Begins was about conquering your fear. The Dark Knight was about dealing with the chaos. Finally, The Dark Knight Rises ends on the note of strength.
Nolan proves to all of his viewers that Batman IS Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne IS Batman. They're both the exact same person. He really dives deep into the relationship between the two names and egos. This movie ends on a ballsy note, but it brings a tear to your eye. I enjoyed it immensely, and I hope others have and will too.
My favorite Action-Comedy series to ever air!
I can't believe a lot of these bad reviews. But all of these good ones I agree with. Chuck's character is completely believable and buy able.
He's not stupid to where he needs to make you laugh, like Steve Carell in the Office.
All of the characters have their acts sold.
Like I said they aren't there to make you laugh, the occurrences make you laugh. And that's one of the things that's so unique about this show.
Not to mention action packed and hilarious. In my opinion it ties with Heroes. I always sit down every Monday to watch Chuck and Heroes on NBC, and Chuck NEVER disappoints.
Great Horror movie turned into Gothic horror Movie.
I was disgusted...I never thought there could have been a Halloween movie that was bad, besides 3...But here are some upsides
1.It gave a look inside of Michael's life when he was little.
2.Malcolm McDowell made the movie BETTER.
Here are the DOWNSIDES!bare with me here...
1.It insulted the original by doing everything but KILLING,the opposite way.
2.They used more cuss words than any other word in the movie!
3.Every woman killed by Michael died TOPLESS.TOPLESS!That wasn't necessary. It was perverted.
4.Every woman killed by him died AFTER they had sex with some guy.
5.They had Michael talk, all of the fans always wanted to hear him talk. But only in a GOOD Halloween movie.
6.There was a RAPE SCENE.YEAH...that was completely un-needed. It had absolutely no affect on the storyline and had NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THE MOVIE.
So there you go,this movie is Gory Perverted and I didn't like it because of it all!
