El premio Nobel del amor (1973)
Perhaps one the best Angelica's movies on her book.
"Premio Nobel del Amor" (Nobel Prize of Love), Tells the story of Leonarda, who changed her first and second names as a way to honor Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Alba Edison and Isaac Newton, she is an Obsessed Physics Student that will go into the most hilarious consequences in order to earn the first Nobel Prize for her country Mexico.
This movie is about finding out that sometimes what we think we really want in life might be the wrong thing and that in the end the power of love prevails, Angelica Looks really gorgeous in it.
Great Acting and movie concept, A breathtaking classic that should not be missed.

Rosario Tijeras (2005)
Some comments (High Spoilers)
1.- The entire death & burial part was highly shocking and touching, who would of thought of them taking the corpse to the bar and celebrate the way they did, simply impressive.
2.- What Rosario said is so true "Tu eres bueno, y los que son buenos sufren mucho" (You are a good guy and the ones who are good suffer a lot). This really reached my very nerve.
3.- The Entire acting was Fabulous, most Colombian movies should be like this.
4.- A question. Why did Jonhefe killed her in the end?, Was he in love with her too? Regards
Mirada de mujer: El regreso (2003)
Hence the Queen!
Current soap operas in this country are falling into decadence, but this TV AZTECA's (Producing TV Company) shining star prove the world how exactly a soap opera is to be done...
This is the sequel to successful 1997's "Mirada de Mujer" which focuses the life of "María Inés Dominguez" Beautifully played by Angélica Aragón ("The Crime of Father Amaro","Picking Up The Pieces",etc), and all of her family which includes a Moddy Lawyer, a Possesive Husband, a Daughter married to some mentally ill guy son of a Mafia Leader, and in love with a Sweet poetry Writer... 20 years younger (María Inés is 45).
What makes this soap opera a golden Lamb between the rest is the fact that it is Stunningly direct on what it attempts to comunicate, does not "add make-up" to the actors dialogs, It also deals with this country's real problems and does not try to marry this classical poor girl with this rich guy, and everyone lives happily forever blah blah blah... if you know what I mean.
Rush to see it!
