FBI (2018– )

Getting tougher to watch.

I actually like this show most of the time but some things are just getting soooo annoying. They are all whinges. OA is a moody so and so and his partner is always gurning. Catching serial killers in 2 days. The whole "stop FBI" from half way down the street. And WHY is Jubel always on his way into a room every scene yelling orders or questions at the rest of them. Every scene!

Stopped watching for a while and now it'll be a bit of watching and episode every now and then when I don't have anything else to watch.

Are there no other fbi agents that work there. Even when they are on a day off they get called in.

This show may be reaching its end.

Beast (I) (2022)

Decent film with a few jumpy parts.

Can't honestly believe the low scores on here. Some saying worst film ever made. Seriously!

A family loses their matriarch and go on holiday to Africa to visit friends. The family get trapped in the wilderness with a lion who has gone rogue after poachers killed its pack. They have a fight for survival to save themselves from the killer lion. The last battle between lion and Elba (father) is a bit hard to watch. It's definitely not as bad a film as people are making out. Decent film that didn't take too much thinking with good cast. Not a lot of unnecessary people who don't bring anything to the film.

Black Bird (2022)

Excellent show to be watched.

6 episodes to binge watch. Taron Egerton was brilliant, the struggle to hold back his emotions when Larry was telling him about the murders. But the stand out acting was from Paul Walter Hauser. Emmy award winner. It was eerie to watch the way his demeanour changed in an instant. Hopefully he isn't typecast though. Similar character (not murderous) in Kingdom in which he was also excellent. Another must watch.

The Terminal List (2022– )

Brilliant show with twists.

A brilliant series with some unexpected twists. A different role for Chris but he played it well. Only reason not a 10/10 is the lighting. So dark at times we couldn't see anything on screen.

It's a strange one. Not sure why I watched 2 episodes when it is so annoying. The 2 women get on like they are friend of the stars but they get on so star struck it's embarrassing. They constantly talk over each other and everyone seems to shout all the time. Maybe a few ideas but unless you want to spend a small fortune on containers and dividers it's a waste of time.

Belfast (2021)

Dark days from a family's perspective.

This film was funny, heartfelt, sad and scary all in one. Although it is based at the start of the troubles the film didn't fully focus on the terror those times caused. It was good to see the Northern Irish humour being portrayed. Belfast isn't just about bombs and religion.

For those distraught about the film being black and white. Seriously?! I didn't even notice after about the 30seconds. It brought the film to its time and gave it charm. In all a great, mostly, light film based around a horrible time in Belfast.

Mayor of Kingstown (2021– )

Good show to binge watch.

Good show with a decent story that you don't have to think too hard about. The mother is just an awful character and not great acting. There a few things you could pick holes in but didn't feel the need. Looking forward to season 2.

Landscapers (2021)

What a load of nonsense. We watched it all just to see what happened but the last episode was just wired up which told us nothing. A boring show which has only been hyped up because of Olivia Coleman. She has done her husband a huge favour by acting in it but sorry, 3 hours wasted!!

Virgin River (2019– )

I gave it 4 episodes.

After 4 episodes I don't think I'll waste any more time on this show. It's like the tackiest hallmark Christmas film ever without the happy ending. The way charmaine is treated for no reason is awful and hope is just annoying not to mention the old busy body. Normally I would stick a show out to give it a chance but not this time. After 4 episodes the only hook is the woman Paige that seems to be on the run with her son.

9-1-1 (2018– )

Hopefully this show is going the same as others.

This is one of my go to shows and always enjoyed watching it. Unfortunately the last couple of episodes I have watched have started going a bit woke. A lot of shows have turned this way and it totally ruins the show. I want to watch the fictional tv show not the news.

Update- last episode of the season and Athena thinks she's Shaft.

Grace and Frankie (2015–2022)

Gets more annoying by the episode.

This show started off funny enough to be watchable. From about series 5 I've been watching because I don't like to give up on a show but it's becoming a struggle now. The Frankie character couldn't be more annoying and now with her sidekick Joan Margaret it's a double whammy. The 4 stars are for the few funnyish episodes earlier on.
