Or really, any film I've seen on the big screen at least 15 years after it was released. Chronological order.

FTV = First time viewing
RW = Rewatch

a list of 100 people
100 directors that I generally love the style of and am always interested in exploring, loosely ordered by my enthusiasm. Always subject to change/develop. Must have seen at least three of their films to be included.

I've added ratings to the films from each director that I've seen. In my head I mostly split films into 6 categories, not 10 or 5, so since this is my list that's what I'ma do!

6* - Excellent/Love :-D
5* - Really good/Like a lot :-))
4* - Good/Like :-)
3* - Okay/Mostly like :-/
2* - Not good/Dislike :-(
1* - Really bad/Hate:-(( - shouldn't be many of these!

...and these obviously reflect only my personal response to the films. Filmographies are ranked but not strictly.

(Removed or omitted to keep limited to 100, but close running: Jia Zhangke, Roberto Rosselini, Carol Reed, Victor Sjostrom, Carl Dreyer, Alfonso Cuaron, Frank Capra, John Ford, Anthony Mann, Julien Duvivier, Henri-Georges Clouzot, Francis Ford Coppola, Joseph Losey)

So, shows I love and care about...or did at some point and still have a fondness for. I've seen every episode of most of these series, but not the animations or a couple of the comedies. Loosely ordered by current enthusiasm.

(Miniseries not included)

Shows I'm really interested in but haven't started, and would like to someday: The Sopranos (I've seen bits and pieces), The Wire, Deadwood, The Americans, Carnivale, The Leftovers, The Crown, Better Call Saul, Arrested Development...

Acclaimed stuff I started and gave up on: House of Cards, Westworld, Buffy (as a teen)

London Film Festival 2014, 2015, and 2016. Listed in viewing order.

How can I afford all this? I can't; I work during the fest and get free admission and industry screenings. Volunteers can also get free entry - a great tip for anyone interested.

This is a personal list - films that I not only consider excellent but feel a connection with (for whatever reason). Some are long-standing/nostalgic favourites; others I've only seen once but made a huge impression. This makes ranking really hard, and the order ends up being pretty arbitrary (even at the top!) but it gives an indication. Always [potentially] in flux as I rewatch and discover.

-- Narrative films only as I have a separate list for documentaries --

And yes, this list does include both Titanic and Eraserhead. Apparently that's possible. :-D

(There are a few hundred other films that I love, and dozens I could have included instead, check out my 'decade' lists so that they aren't neglected!)
