This episode was not my favorite however it was good. I found that not much happened. There was not much main plot development, just subplot development. The good thing about these episodes is that it builds up to wonderfully exciting climaxes that are well worth the wait. I am a religious Battlestar Galactica watcher and I have to say that Mary McDonnell and Edward James Olmos's chemistry is becoming a very charismatic storyline. I dread the foreshadowed troubles in their relationship. I am also wondering where the Cylons were in this episode. Their revolutionary status is what I really wanted to see. I want to see where they are and if Natalie 6 and her ship survived the civil war attack. Can't wait till next week.
Battlestar Galactica: Six of One (2008)
I thought that this episode of Battlestar Galactica was fantastic. I found the first episode to be a little uneventful. I liked it all the same but I wanted a little more ... I don't know.
This episode was really good. Katee Sackhoff gave a fantastic performance as usual and added something extra to the storyline.
The Cylon story lines have always been the most interesting to me and this episode was definitely not lacking in that area. I have to say that I don't necessarily like that Baltar is seeing himself now instead of Six and I hope that she comes back as his "guardian angel". This episode set up the expected return of D'Anna and I can't wait for her to be back.
I definitely liked this episode and I look forward to seeing next Friday's? * Bring back Virtual Six! :)
MAY CONTAIN A SPOILER * * I thought that this episode was excellent. Katee Sackhoff gave a fantastic performance as Kara Thrace (no surprise there) and expertly developed ideas that will carry on throughout the season. Where are the Cylons? Where is Earth? Is she a Cylon? It is great how the directors and writers have related the episode premiere to previous events. It reinforces cohesion. I also think that the Final Five Cylons are intended to be something much more than just Cylons. I think that THEY are the shape of things to come. So folks, do we side with Kara, or Roslin or the Adama guys? It all depends on what will happen in the next episode which looks like it will be a good one. In my opinion, the episodes on the Cylon ships are the best ones and I will definitely watch that.
