2nd is Modern Times, 1st is Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
I only wanted to see this movie because Max Von Sydow was in it, and I'm glad he was in it, or else I wouldn't have seen it. This movie is great for SNL and Monty Python fans, like me.
All of the jokes in this movie are funny- a rare occasion in filmmaking. Most movies have a few funny jokes, but then a whole bunch of stupid jokes that nobody likes, and that aren't even funny. This movie isn't like that.
I can't call Strange Brew a perfect movie, but it IS a perfect comedy. The jokes are all funny, they're constant, they're not all the same.
Why is there an intermission, though? I've always wondered that... The movie is only 90 minutes long!
My overall rating for this movie is 9/10, -1 for the confusing intermission.
First of all, I'd like to mention that not all the German soldiers in
War II were Nazis. Many, MANY Germans who did not believe in the Nazis
forced to fight in the war. Mayabe this will help the enjoyment of the
And about the movie: It is awesome! It's exciting, it has great acting, it's dramatic, it has everything. I loved this movie, I even own it now.
It achieves the affect of claustrophobia. The camera shots where it follows people through the submarine are really effective. It really makes the movie more exciting. I gave it a 10 for being fast-paced, exciting, dramatic, sometimes even funny.
P.S. Just to let everybody know: On the Director's Cut DVD, you CAN listen to the movie English-speaking and with English subtitles, but I wouldn't recommend it. See what i mean.
That's probably what you would think when you first see this on a
in a store. It sure sounds like a joke, but it's not. And it looks
stupid, too. But looks can be deceiving, can't they?
This game is SO funny. It has 5 miniature games, and they are all fun. There's a game where you drive a remote control car, a game where you run around belching on guys to kill them, there's a mario-like game where you run around blowing kisses to kill guys, there's a game where you move a trampoline to bounce Dot around and pop all the balloons, and last but not least, a game where you play a very unusual miniature golf course.
Make sure you don't skip the introductions to each game, they can really crack you up. Although immature almost all the time, I give this game a 9 out of 10. (minus 1 for portraying Boise as a place where potatoes are grown... if you want to see potatoes, try about 200 miles east.)
