92 minutes of pure fun.
2 January 2024
"Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" is a must see for any comedy fans out there, but I think it can appeal to a wide audience of people since it is such a fun movie.

This was a highly entertaining watch, and I genuinely had fun watching it from the minute it started. This movie had so much to love in it and it had a very unique and well thought out feel to it. It did a lot and it did everything very, very well.

There are lots of laughs in this movie, and the humor is very well done and enjoyable. Along with this, the overall feel and aesthetic of this movie is very pleasing as well. It has that classic, girly, 90s feel to it that is just so much fun to watch. This is exactly how a chick flick should be done.

The outfits are all wonderful and I love the costumes used in the film. All throughout Romy and Michele wear very interesting and cute outfits that are so much fun to see.

One of the things I love about this movie (even though there are so many things) is the soundtrack, there is so much good music all throughout, and I love a movie with a good, fun soundtrack, this has this. From the flashback 80s scenes to the club scenes, there is a fun, great song choice added. Even just the opening song picked was an incredible choice.

Highly enjoyable, fun, and bubbly film with perfect execution of a story with humor blended in and great stylistic elements. If I were to scale this out of 100, I would probably give it a 98 or so. My kind of fun film.

Hilarious episode
31 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Loved this episode. Had the pacing of an earlier season episode and it was full of funny jokes.

This was a super funny and entertaining watch, jokes were landing super well throughout and tons of funny moments. I loved that they brought back Tim Meadows' character and what they did with that too, his part was incredibly funny and it would be great to see more of him in the show.

Hilarious cold open too. Holt was incredibly funny here and the way he was acting towards the commissioner was very fun to watch. This episode was one of the funniest from this season that I have watched lately. Season six has had some weak episodes in it but this was not one of them.

A strong episode for season six
31 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The Halloween heist episodes are always incredibly fun, this one is a Cinco De Mayo heist but it still packs the same punch.

Some of the episodes of this season have been lacking, the tone of the show has changed a little bit and although it's still been great, I missed episodes like these and how the show used to be.

This episode is lighthearted and funny, incredibly enjoyable and a return to the roots of the show. Only iffy thing was the pregnancy fake out by Amy, but the rest of this episode was great! No complaints other than that. I haven't been a fan of Amy's behaviour this season, especially in the last few episodes.

This episode was lots of fun and one of the best from this season so far.

Worst episode in the series so far
31 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I felt compelled to write a review for this episode because of how strongly I disliked it. It had an entertaining idea and still had some funny moments in it, started off great, but went downhill fast.

Amy's behaviour in this episode was absolutely unbelievable, uncalled for, and honestly not necessary. The whole debate about children and how she practically threatened to leave Jake if he would not have kids was so out of character and off putting. I have never really disliked an episode of this show, but this one was just irritating to me. The way that Amy behaved here was just awful to watch, I have never been annoyed watching this show before this episode.

It doesn't bring down the show at all, and this is just one episode, but the way that Amy acted here was off putting and very strange. The way she acted towards Jake was incredibly toxic and not needed in this show at all. It was just very out of character and overall an odd route to go.

The end of a short but slow season
29 December 2023
The first season of this show was short but quite slow, the episodes were dull but started to get better and better, and I know that the next season and the ones after that will be better than this one.

Season one was really just the show finding its way and what it wanted to be, at least that's what I think anyways. It started to pick up and find what it wanted to do the more it went on, and it got more funny and entertaining later on too.

This episode is funny and it wraps up the first season well, it has some pretty funny moments and it really helps to further develop some characters which is great for the progression of the show.

The show is getting better and better with every episode
29 December 2023
The show is finally doing what it needed to do, it's picking up, making every character quite likable, and having sub-plots other than the park being built on the lot where the pit is. The first few episodes only focused on that one thing, and I think it is what brought them down.

Not as funny as the previous episodes, but it is on about the same level. I would give this a six and a half, but you can not give half points on IMDB, so I have given this episode a seven.

Had some very great moments, and it was quite an enjoyable episode. The overall pacing of the show is getting a whole lot better, and it is starting to get good. It is becoming even more worthwhile and enjoyable.

A finally funny episode from an otherwise weak starting season
29 December 2023
This episode started off on a way funnier note than the others so far, and it's clear that the series will continue to get better and better as it goes along.

This is what I was waiting for, an episode that is finally actually funny and filled with great moments. The pacing of this episode is so much better than the previous ones and it's an entertaining watch. The rest of this season so far has been pretty weak but this is a ray of light in the dark.

I like the pace of this episode a lot, a lot of funny moments happen here and it's clear that the show is going to pick up from this point onwards. I enjoyed this episode a lot more than the other episodes before it so far, and I hope that it keeps up with improving like this. I feel like the second season will be better once the show is really fully fleshed out, it's still just starting at this point.

Picking up but still lacking
28 December 2023
This is on the same level as the other episodes in the series so far. I know that the show will probably pick up in the second season from what I am seeing, and it's clear that the show is just trying to find its way still in the first little bit.

Here it starts to pick up a bit more, I was more entertained by this episode than the previous one, and some of the jokes were funnier than the previous episodes.

It's starting to get slightly more interesting and is picking up a bit, but it is still lacking in some areas too. I think it just needs a few more episodes to get everything fully fleshed out, and then it will start to become an amazing show. I'm starting to like all of the characters and it's great how they are developing over these first few episodes too.

Bittersweet and unique
28 December 2023
Rashida Jones & Andy Samberg star together in this romantic dramedy and they both do incredibly well. They both have incredible chemistry on screen and the way their story unfolds is incredibly touching.

I really love how the emotions of some of the situations here are portrayed, it's a bittersweet movie that can make you laugh and cry at the same time. The jokes are funny when they are present, and this movie is great at being serious and/or sad too.

This movie is really a hidden gem, and I think it might be one of the best romantic movies I have seen. I love the chemistry between the lead actors and they both did incredibly well. Andy Samberg did great in his more dramatic role, which is something somewhat unexpected from him but he did so well at it.

I wasn't huge on this movie the first time I watched it because I didn't know what I was getting into, I thought it would be more of a comedy but it is more of a drama, but the second time I watched it I really fell in love with it. The story is so well told and thought out, and the whole movie is just put together incredibly well.

Clear that the show is trying to find its way
28 December 2023
It's clear that the show is still trying to find its way in this episode. I think Leslie became more likable here, I didn't like her in the pilot, but she is a bit more funny in this episode.

The overall plotline of this episode is just meh, not a ton is happening which makes sense for a show just starting out like this. I think this helps to flesh out the characters and atmosphere of the show a little more.

Some laughs here and there, but I think this was still just a bit slow in terms of pace among other things. Some shows like this just deliver funny scene after funny scene, but so far Parks and Rec does not do that. Despite this, I am enjoying the show so far and I think the more it goes along, the better it will become.

I really like the roles of both Chris Pratt and Rashida Jones, and I hope that they get quite a bit of screen time throughout the show. Pratt's character makes for some especially funny moments.

Slow start
28 December 2023
This episode introduces us to each character and the overall theme of the show. I found this to be a bit dull though, not as funny as I thought?

So far, I find Leslie Knope to be somewhat unlikable. She is somewhat annoying, so I hope her character is more fleshed out later on into the show?

Since this is a pilot episode, it makes sense that this isn't incredible, but I still found it to be an almost dull start to a show that I think will become very good later on from what I have heard/seen.

Some laughs here and there, but it isn't super funny like "The Office" or "Brooklyn Nine-Nine", but I'm sure it'll pick up.
