I can not get enough of this show.....please stop reading this and start watching...you will definitely get hooked, that show is so good. oh man, i love it! I LOVE DEGRASSI!
This movie was really really good, probably the greatest movie of the year. It beats everything I've seen this year, including Harry Potter, which I love. Hello Oscars!!! It's gonna win best picture! GO LORD OF THE RINGS!!! WHOOO!!! I haven't even read the books and I loved it. The special effects are amazing, and the casting and acting are just brilliant. The girl parts are more important than they are in the book, but that's the 21 century for you. Everyone - go see Lord of the Rings. You are missing out on the greatest movie EVER if you don't.
Being a big fan of the Harry Potter books, I was very excited when I first
heard they were making a movie a little over a year ago. Failing to be able
to get tickets on opening night, I saw it the next night, and preceded to
see it 2 more times. Let me just say, if you loved the books, you'll love
the movie! Even if you haven't read the books, you'll most likely love the
experience that is Harry Potter.
Though lacking some character development and some satire of the book,
Columbus made a wonderful adaption of the already cult classic.
The storyline is simple enough, Harry is living with his horrible aunt and uncle and spoiled cousin Dudley, until letters start arriving from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Despite Uncle Vernon's strong believes in anti-magic, Harry goes to Hogwarts, and the story unravels from there.
Wonderful, suspenseful, captivating. Daniel Radcliffe didn't do the greatest acting job, but everyone else in the movie was absolutely perfect, esp. Snape and Dumbledore. Terrific casting for Ron and Hermione, they couldn't have been better. In the future we can expect great things from them.
The special effects could have been a bit better, but overall, this is an awesome movie that everyone should see. A great DVD buy no matter what. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat and Columbus makes sure to stay true to the book. Fans of all ages will be spell-binded by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!
From the looks of the previews, this movie looked like it was going to be a
bit scary, but not too much. Wow, I was in for a treat.
It takes place in 1945, after the war. Grace (Nicole Kidman) and her two children live in an old, large house on an island in England. Grace hires 3 servants after the others mysteriously vanished and makes a few things very important. Whatever room the children are in the curtains must be closed, as they are allergic to light. All 50 doors must be locked at all times, no door can just stay open.
Soon Ann (her daughter) starts hearing and talking to Victor, a boy who claims he and his family live there. Ann insists he isn't a ghost. Grace tries to block the fact that they may be sharing the house with other people, but soon catches on...
This movie is excellent, it will have you on the edge of your seat. Some people actually screamed at one part. It's great because the previews don't give away the best parts. Terrific casting, acting, and directing. It's a chilling experience with a twist ending. I loved it. **** out of **** stars. Go see it today!
This is one of the funniest movies I have seen lately. From beginning to end, it will keep you rolling in the halls. The cast was excellent, it couldn't have been better. In the beginning, some lucky people get a gold coin in the slot machines, telling them that they've won, and they all go into this room for a free buffet. John Cleese tells them 2 million dollars is in a locker in Silver City, New Mexico. Of course, they don't believe him, and are about to all just continue their trip in Las Vegas, till Jon Lovitz goes down the stairs (they're all waiting for the elevator). They catch on, race down the stairs, and the race is on! They all have so much trouble along the way it's hilarious. The cast is incredible, they are very funny. It has an ending that you really wouldn't expect. I strongly advice everyone to see this movie, you'll be laughing for days. I give 4 out of 4 stars. Go see it today!!
This movie is just downright hilarious. It's about three potheads that have to bail their 4th friend Kenny (Harland Williams) out of jail because he killed a diabetic police horse. Along the way, Thurgood (Dave Chappelle) meets this girl he really likes but she is totally against pot. Jim Breuer, Guillermo Diaz, Harland Williams, and Dave Chappelle are really great at playing stoners. Jim Breuer is totally funny in this movie. I recommended this movie to anyone with a good sense of humor, it will keep you laughing forever! After all, it is the ultimate feel-good movie.
Being a huge fan of Adam Sandler, I thought I would enjoy this movie. Well, it turns out I was wrong...very wrong. How this movie ever snuck into movie theaters, or better yet, even became a movie, in unimaginable to me. It was pathetic-from the obviously extremely low budget, to the barely-there plot, and the enourmous wastes of time now and then. I couldn't even watch all the way through, if you watch it you'll just be like "My god! When will it end?!" It's about Sandler wanting to be the ship's comedian, but all he is right now is a waiter. This doesn't have the usual hilarious Sandler comedy, it barely even has comedy. You may be thinking I'm not that big of a Sandler fan, but I am, big time. Please whatever you do, do NOT waste your time or money. Even if it's free, don't get it. You'll be very, very disapointed.
I don't see why some people give this movie a bad review, this was like the
funniest movie I have ever seen! Well, I guess it helps that I'm a huge
Farley/Spade fan, but still! They were the best comedy duo ever, they were
perfect. This movie will keep you laughing from beginning to end.
Everything about it is great, the plot was excellent and all the actors totally fit their parts. This was the best film David Spade and Chris Farley ever made. If you're a fan of comedy, you got to buy this. Note that I say buy, you can't watch it just once! Spade and Farley must go on a roadtrip together, in order for his late dad's factory to stay open, they got to sell a half million break pads.
Chris Farley was a very unique comedian.
