One Night at McCool's (2001)
Somewhat of an entertaining movie
One Night At McCool's was an ok movie. There were some funny scenes but it's not like i was laughing my ass off during this movie. It was good to see Andrew-Dice-Clay and Paul Keiser do some acting in this movie. Liv Tyler was sexy as can be for a change. So go out and rent it on DVD it's worth taking a look at. 6/10
Jurassic Park III (2001)
Most definitley best of all!
Jurassic Park 3 is without a doubt the best out of the entire trilogy. The visual and audio effects have never been better. I am happy that they brought back the original cast Jeff Goldblums performance in The Lost World sucked. The plot was excellent however it does seem like everytime a Jurassic Park film comes out we are seeing the same movie over and over again. 7/10
Outside Providence (1999)
Funny Farrelly Brothers movie.
Outside Providence was made by the Farrelly Brothers who made There's Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber. These two guys try to make there movies as vulgar and gross as can be. Dumb and Dumber wasn't what I would call gross however There's Something About Mary was. Outside Providence did not bring as much publicity as Mary but it wasn't a bad film. I didn't feel like spending money on renting this movie so I took it out of the library. I was laughing through much of the movie and I was enjoying the great music it had as well. After the movie I saw an alternate ending which was confusing. I think that the alternate ending should have been the original ending in the final cut of the film. Outside Providence is something great to watch if you come across it. I liked this one and I give it **1/2.
Lucky Numbers (2000)
A Great Comedy!
Lucky Numbers is an excellent comedy. It is simply Nora Ephrons best as she continues to bring more and more great films such as this one. Lisa Kudrow has never been more entertaining and John Travolta was awesome as he always is. The story, plot, characters, dialogue was all great. ***1/2 very good!
Doctor Dolittle (1998)
Dr. Doolitle was a genuinly funny movie. The voices of the animals were great by some of many respectable actors and Eddie Murphy was the perfect character for Dr. Doolitle. This was great Eddie Murphy comedy. Great jokes and plot but the movie could have used an additional 30 minutes or so. Great to watch with the family. 3 STARS!
Not worth watching
Time should not be wasted on watching garbage such as this. Superstar has a weak plot, dumb acting and mild and stupid humor. There are very few laughs in this film and it is proof that all of these Saturday Night Live actors cannot act in films. Comedy like this is meant to be on T.V. as a skit people can't expect to be able to watch 2 hours of crap skits that are on NBC. Superstar is definitley not worth watching. 2/10.
Jaws 3-D (1983)
Not a bad sequel.
The third installment of Jaws which was titled Jaws 3-D contains some errors. First of all I cannot understand why it is called 3-D I heard that the movie was 3-D only in theaters which is stupid the movie is only out in theaters for about a month or so. I was not alive to see it in theaters so I bought the video 10 years after it came out and I was convinced that it was a 3-D film. However the movie wasn't bad it continues the adventure of a family that is attacked by a fatal shark. The plot was good and the casting was fair but I began to laugh when I heard a shark roar under water like something from Jurrasic Park. This film is a complete joke compared to the first and second but is definitely worth watching if you like these movies. Most people should pretend that there are only three Jaws films instead of four because the next sequel is mostly a spoof of the others.
Miss Congeniality (2000)
A weak film with minimum laughs.
Miss Congeniality is a pretty weak film with dull humor and bad acting. My sister who is 11 saw this movie in theatres and had told me that it was the best movie she had ever seen. I was convinced for three months that the movie was worth watching but when I watched it on Pay-Per-View I was disappointed in what I had seen. The movie was basically made up of weak humor that entertain girls of the age 11 to 14. There was a rare occasion during the film when Micheal Caine and William Shatner made me laugh. The casting wasn't all that bad especially with Sandra Bullock who is usually the athletic and particular type when doing a movie. This movie is not a must see but if you feel that it looks exciting than watch it but if you are simply just wanting to see Sandra Bullock then you might want to consider watching 28 days.
An absolute masterpiece!
Jaws is most definitley one of the most greatest film in movie history. Due to its excellent ratings it brought about three sequels which there should have only been two the last production was disgusting. The film has an excellent cast and a great script and story. This movie is especially cool for my generation because it was an extremely well-made movie for its time and is still great to watch. I have probably seen this movie about 50 times while being alive for 15 years. This is defentley a film that everyone should watch.
Scary Movie (2000)
The funniest movie I have ever seen.
Scary Movie is hilarious. With a combination of gross-out jokes and typpical Wayans brother dialoge makes this movie an entertaining 90 minutes of laughter. When I rented this movie on VHS I didn't expect much of it but I was shocked to see what went on in the film. I truly believe that it is impossible not to laugh during this movie. I would recomend this film to anyone who wants to laugh for over an hour.
