Gekijouban Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2021)
Heartfelt, Deep, Dynamic
Three words. Or maybe more. Jujutsu Kaisen is one of those animes that really care deeply for its characters. A whole lot of it. Lots of depth, which is probably rare in animes especially shounen. This feeling & experience with JJK has been so unique & endemic. The interconnected of the scenes & the characters themselves are so well-thought. And the movie is so dense with it. We were able to see more into the ever-opinionated Zenin & her friends, & the ever-timid & anxious Yuta, no matter how cliche the character trope is, is still able to make you cry and empathize a lot w/ him. Well-timed & dazzling actions follow suit, and those are one of the best that I could ever see in anime fights history.
I have no more words of praise, but everything feels so smooth that I could not even notice any flaws. But at least, the film unearthed a lot of details not even mentioned during the first season, and Geto's bond w/ Satoru is even more amplified here. What I really don't like, I guess is the quick transition from before the Parade until its execution, and I still can't see clearly how the schools conduct their classes & trainings.
Overall, these are just my first impressions. I believe I'll be able to write longer and deeper some other time. I still have my questions, but for now, I'll say I really love the characters -- very much, and the packed action scenes that balances with the film's poetic depth & imagery.

Vincenzo (2021)
Original Score: 9.75/10
Vincenzo gives you those intense, dark vibes that match the likes of John Wick, The Dark Knight, & V (for Vendetta). How could it even masterfully incorporate some slapstick humor into it, when it tackles about serious societal issues such as the weak justice system in the society? Only Vincenzo can do that, perhaps. One may both like and dislike how realistic and unrealistic it is, but it's somehow mysterious that it still feels breathtaking and suffused with wit and craftiness. All those satires, oppressive evils vs. The "necessary evils", the suspense, the action, & mysteries, surprising character transformations - this one is a dizzying, mind-blowing, & absolutely worthy watch.
Kimetsu no Yaiba (2019)
A portion of my commentary on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba
"One of the greatest sources of tension all the way into the series is the human nature that stayed in the demons, because most of them were once humans. I love that talk between Shinobu and Tanjiro in ep. 24, when Shinobu talked about how her big sister was killed by some demon yet she still showed some compassion, while Shinobu herself couldn't come up with the same composure, and she sees Tanjiro as having close qualities with her sister. The tension of whether to feel pity over the demon's conscience as usually found moments before their death or to feel total disdain due to them taking away the humans' loved ones out of bare instincts is really strong to the point that it could surpass those complex emotions and challenge our usual logic and intellect."

Purasutikku Memorîzu (2015)
A portion of my commentary on Plastic Memories
This is a good example of a series that is very predictable without much twists, and yet is still able to satisfy the viewers until the end despite some flaws that go unnoticed, brought about by the weight of some solid moments, new ways of developing dialogues on the theme and a pint of jests. A lot of reviewers say that this series could have been expanded, that it really has potential in terms of its source material and subject matter. Some say that some scenes or episodes should have been omitted. But anyway, I'm just a normal reviewer myself. Just the thought of a human soul expiring within an android body? Damn. Just putting myself in Tsukasa's shoes would make me depressed for some indefinite time.
