a list of 126 characters
Here either because the character is extremely well-written, well-acted (or both), or just plain admirable and fascinating. My opinion only. And only characters that I love. You won't find Jake LaMotta or Vito Corleone on here - great performances, great movies, and great characters - they just does nothing for me on a personal level. They can be saved for a best characters of all-time list.

(Ordered as best I could)

*(And I apologise to everyone that I love Ross Geller more than Indiana Jones ;-)

a list of 250 titles
Because the ordering starts to become inconsistent after about the top 25, I've decided to just list them in order of the year they were released, starting with 2010 (nothing mind-blowing having yet been released in 2011. YET.)
Please feel free to tell me how genius, brilliant and comprehensive my list is ;-)
(or if there are any glaring omissions ;-)

I fell in love with movies when I saw SCREAM in 1997 when I was almost 13 years old. It blew my mind. I then sought out all of the movies mentioned in SCREAM. That led to subscribing to horror magazines. I've since seen SCREAM over 200 times (it's my favorite series). I then branched out into all genres. Then I became intelligent enough to work the internet, found IMDB 10 years ago, and have been using it as my bible ever since - studying directors mostly (hunting down all the films of my favorite directors). Then I got a job at a video store and attempted to do a "Tarantino" - see every movie in the store as they came out, writing little reviews for each one.
That's my story as to why I've seen so many movies.
My creed: I'd rather watch a bad movie than no movie at all.

I currently have 3,400 films in my Watch List. If you can think of any hard-to-find or obscure/forgotten films that you love that I may have over-looked, please feel free to leave any suggestions in the comments. Films of the last 20 years I'm very well-versed in. I particularly love films of the 40's/50's and 70's. Any genre. Thankyou!
