Crop And Save
SpongeBob SquarePants (1999)
1 of the 2 shows saving Nickelodeon.
When this show leaves, its the end of the world as we know it for Nickelodeon. This (and The Fairly OddParents) are the only two shows saving Nickelodeon. I remember a time when every nicktoon was good. When it was worth it to turn on Nickelodeon and just watch it for hours on end. Well my friends it isn't like that anymore. You cant turn on Nickelodeon without watching a show about a bunch of little idiots in a band, or farm animals acting like idiots. You cant turn it on without watching a bunch of teenagers going through there stupid lives (not like Kenan and Kel did) these people are fixated what he or she is wearing or if there makeup is on right. So please enjoy these two shows while you can. I don't have to tell you what this show is about, because other people have put it more clearly.
When those two shows go, they might as well just terminate the channel completely.
Frank TV (2007)
Come on people, this show is awesome.
Frank Caliendo is a master of impressions and this show is absolutely awesome.
His impressions are just about top notch and make me laugh out loud (few shows can actually do that).
He brings up a guest host for the show which is cool for the person going up to actually interact in the show.
He takes guys we like to make fun of and puts them into hilarious situations, he has plots that make sense as well.
He has fake guys play celebrities which makes it all the funnier to see if those guys can do the impressions right.
Leave Caliendo alone, he deserved his own TV show, he has it now, and its going great.
Back to You (2007)
"Back to" the basics.
I watched the pilot on the computer (because i missed it when it aired), and i have to say i was very impressed It had shades of what the older sitcoms seemed like.
Another great thing is the fact that they actually put in actors i knew about (Grammer and Willard).
The one thing i was not looking forward to when i was ready to watch the pilot was Patricia Heaton.
I really didn't care for her role in Everybody Loves Raymond.
But so far she has really shined and has proved to me that she can make this show go far.
I do not see this show having more than maybe 5 or 6 seasons.
But while its on, watch it. You will really enjoy it.
Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007)
Easiest script ever, instant classic, I wish i had saw it in theatres.
I just finished watching this on my computer and i have to tell you, I LOVED THIS MOVIE, who else could have a film with probably all of 15 lines of English in it and make it superb unlike other remakes they kept the character the same, (a goofy, silly man who gets into wacky blunders and always gets out of it. This was well made, and it was easy, without a script at all, all you gotta do is make it funny in other ways. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves to laughs, this man is like the real life Goofy from Disney, so if you liked Goofy watch this man. Watch Rowan Atkinson in this superbly made movie.
The greatest sitcom never heard of.
NewsRadio has to be the best scripted comedy ever (only argument is Seinfeld). This sitcom was loved, but today people have never heard of it. Id say "Seinfeld is my favorite show" and they will give there judgment on it, then i ask if they have ever heard of NewsRadio. No one i know has ever heard of it. Phil Hartman has to be one of the greatest and funniest sitcom characters ever. This sitcom i believe could still be on today, but was unfortunately canceled. The main reason was poor ratings due to Phil Hartman's death in 1998. Dave Foley, Stephen Root, and Phil Hartman. No better trio.
Once again this is "The greatest sitcom never heard of".
If you don't want to laugh, then don't watch this show.
There is no better show than Seinfeld and there never will be. When you take those 4 and put them in a room there is no better TV magic. The show never gets old and is still funny after watching the same episodes many many times.
Jerry: The comedian who is like the ringmaster for his three puppet friends (haha) all kidding aside he is the main character. The man who is kind of a clean freak who hardly ever wants to do anything for anyone else, eats cereal and worships Superman all day. Goes through girlfriends one by one (he seems to have a new one every episode). And even after he breaks up with his girlfriends he would usually like to remain friends.
George: Probably the unluckiest bastard in television history. He could never hold down a job until season 6 on. Relationships never came easy to this man, and often said that he could never imagine himself having sex ever again. Often went through mishaps that left him hated by others, or made him hate others. Really doesn't care about the misfortune of others, and often lies in an attempt to get money or to benefit himself and nobody else.
Kramer: Probably the luckiest bastard in television history. This man has had one job that we known about, and always seems to get by. Kramer lives a better life than George by doing nothing but staying at home and mooching off Jerry. Kramer often comes up with harebrained schemes with Newman, or comes up with his own ideas or inventions.
Elaine: Elaine is the nicest of the bunch, but later in life became a witch. Her and Jerry dated but remained friends. She has always worked in publishing and eventually became the President of The J. Peterman Company. She has no other friends who are girls, she is indeed a friend of men, not ladies.
It had 9 seasons but wasn't canceled, NBC was really desperate to get a 10th season but Jerry Seinfeld wanted to go out on top. NBC was willing to pay Jerry 5 million dollars an episode for a 10th season, but he declined, Jerry is in the Guinness Book Of World Records for most money turned down.
