911 Crisis Center (2021– )
10/10
ACTUAL reality show without BS
26 March 2023
The show features an actual 911 call center and the employees working there. The characters are genuine and adds to likeability. Each episode involves a small time period, like a holiday weekend or the happenings around a full moon. Calls range from ridiculous, not 911 worthy, to serious car accidents, and shoot outs. When calls come in, it reveals how things come together, with the start of the phone call. The small group of employees in the room work together to quickly get needed information, ascertain the services needed and provide support as needed. A true, UNSCRIPTED, reality show, exposes raw emotions in real time. It is a very interesting look into emergencies.

Best and REAL reality show
11 February 2023
These shows were amazing and put together in a great way. It is incredibly skillful the way such a chaotic environment can be filmed and put together the way they did. The show hits trauma centers all over the country, making it even more interesting. The locations give a good idea of what the region problems are. It is not surprising to have gang violence and shootings in certain areas such as LA. Some locations see different challenges with more homeless, more uneducated, and those who can not speak English. All create more difficult conditions to treat. The show is reality in the true sense of the word. TLC stopped filming because it was too expensive. Instead, they moved on to ridiculous freak shows that encourage bad behavior for the show. Points for the most kids, extreme cougars, people going to ridiculous measures dating, trying to get green cards. TLC went to trash tv.

surprisingly great

Warning: Spoilers
The 1000 sisters is probably the worst show on tv so to come up with another version seemed like another disaster. We all know that TLC enjoys exploiting train wrecks. This show is legitimate and these girls are NOT Tammy and Amy! The four girls have been life long friends and often recount the challenges they have had since high school. Initially, Meghan had already had weight loss surgery before the start of the show. Actually, she had appeared on the show Too Large with the Dr. Proctor. Now the other girls are trying and Meghan is slipping. In fact, many are annoyed and upset with her immaturity this season. Poor Tina, her husband and kids have 2 more adult children in their homes. Taking in a girlfriend for a brief period is one thing, but the boyfriends is there and they seem like they have no plans to leave, EVER!! I am sure everyone was disgusted when the couple thought it appropriate to share a little hotel room with the family. May be Megan and the bf are really stupid, but it was really frickin clear that they did not want them there!! It is darn right rude to just permanently plant yourself to that family. Vanessa is the surprise this season. So proud of her!!

I enjoy watching real documentaries and I was under the impression the Story channel had real stories. I was a bit intrigued but quickly realized this certainly is not true. I did not find anything about this realistic. The storyline, the bad acting was all just plain awful. LOL I can understand the interest in making folklore come to life, but the channel should be one that is not expected to be legitimate. What channel is used for bigfoot expeditions? Seems like a more appropriate channel. Maybe Scify. Maybe done in a different manner would make it a better fit for the Story channel, but not done with ridiculous storyline and horrible acting. Please!! I will not trust this channel again...

Is there any worse show?
6 January 2023
These guys are disgusting! Did this show start off with two morbidly obese sisters actually caring about weight loss? Just from the dang commercials, I am disgusted! I honestly can not imagine anyone having interest in this show. Challenged a bit in several areas is clear. Lack of manners and education is limited but to think it is appropriate to show on tv says something. There is a nasty, very rude one who should not be on air ever! People are supporting her to act out and seriously, it should stop! Pay this woman to be vulgar and act out should stop. The other one clearly could care less about weight loss either. Have another baby in that environment! Please stop supporting these people! I can not even handle the commercials!

Ridiculous to call this a show!
6 December 2022
I agree with the Kartrashion wanna be theory. I honestly do not understand why anyone would make this a show!! Rich, snobby white women with their charmed lives. It is ridiculous! I was doing computer work and the tv was on that channel. I honestly could not believe it was a show. Why? Why would this be entertaining? They have zero clue what it is like to have a "real" problem and there is something fundamentally wrong about that. It is rude, and insulting. Absolutely nothing about them is worth watching and I honestly keep wondering why why why would this be a show?? It was nice to see the bogdanoff wannabes are not on the air so TLC wanted to try a new group of snobby white chicks? I can not even handle the commercials!!

I Am Shauna Rae (2022–2023)
6/10
better than the usual TLC characters
17 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I loved the first season for the most part. She was adorable and the family is sweet. Mark and the sisters are great. It is clear Shauna is the priority in the family, which is sad. The mother coddles a bit much, but probably how most moms would be in that situation. Moms do not have a guidebook for these unique situations. The first season Shauna had a few too many tantrums and the family babies her. She is an adult. And she makes sure everyone knows it. She is very pretentious. She goes out of her way to prove she is an adult, but denies it. (Many tattoos and now piercings.) She has made attempts for jobs. She is so far off when it comes to reality, making it clear that the family coddling was a bit much. She expects the world to adjust to her. This season, she is coming across very pretentious. The family needs counseling and I do not mean that in a bad way. Tara is such a smart girl working on a PHD and the youngest seems clueless on life. The family needs to let Shauna be an adult and back off. Shauna keeps telling herself and everyone else that she is an adult, but refuses to admit she really cannot live in an adult world. The episode where they looked at these incredibly pricey apartments and seriously expected it to be doable. Maybe Tara at some point will be able to afford one as a doctor lol, but Shauna cannot even decide on a minimum wage job yet. LOL I hope she realizes how snotty she is coming across, because the show can be fun. One more thing, just because you are 22, does not mean you can drink with the big girls!!! You are 50 pounds!! NOT a good thing.. She wants so badly to be a big girl, which is understandable, but she needs to be realistic!
