a list of 1,727 titles
Okay, so the title is rather self explanitory. The list is pretty short for the years before 1979 as I haven't gone through the imdb library yet for those years. So as I call it, they're "Summed up" for now.

I figure if I make a physical list of some kind, I'll get through them faster. It's certainly worked for watching what I own, so we'll see how this goes.

Now, keep in mind I hardly ever see blockbuster/epic movies when they're new. I wait until the hype dies down and I can make an informed decision on if I truly want to see them, not just because of the hype.

Example-My gut stopped me from seeing Spider-Man 2 and 3, and I'm actually quite thankful for it. I loved the first one and thought it was perfect. I thought the sequels would ruin it and it did for many people. Since then I've been going by gut and seem to have a good instinct on film in general.

Recently on my family tree, I've been finding and adding celebs left right and center. I am very very distantly related to most of these people through my bloodlines but some are just related to other celebs so they ended up in the tree.

My personal attitude towards this is just the fact that these people are related, mostly through me and through each other, which I think is cool. But personally my family history is filled with black sheep, suicides, murderers (in-laws), murder victims (blood relatives), "The Other Woman"s (including my grandmother), etc. So this is just another layer for my family.

If anyone was wondering, my genealogy consists of Volhynian-born German, French Canadian, English, Scottish, Belgian, and Irish. I'm also a direct descendant of Anthony Rawlings, founder of the state of Maryland. I also have early American ancestry, most stemming from England.

The 200 Worst Wide Openings 600+ Theatres 1982–Present are listed here: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/weekends/worstopenings.htm?page=WRSTOPN&p=.htm

I stumbled onto this list and noticed one of my favorite childhood movies at number 16 on this list, so I thought I'd make it into an imdb list. I didn't include re-issues of previously released movies.

a list of 37 titles
This list not only includes shows in the middle of airing, but also shows that have an announced premiere date within the current US TV year. Also, as shows get cancelled and the season finales air, I will delete them from this list.

Promising Series for the 2015-16 Season:
Emerald City - NBC (Picked back up again, so hopefully it actually goes to air this time)
Dr. Ken - ABC
Fuller House - Netflix (2016)
Grandfathered - FOX
Scream Queens - FOX
The Muppets - ABC
Uncle Buck - ABC

Cancelled This Season:
The McCarthys - I personally loved this show but I knew from the pilot episode it would be cancelled after the first year. I am a little surprised though that it got cancelled before it's run was over
Two and a Half Men - Loved the finale. Got into the show after they started airing reruns during season 5 and I was hooked ever since.
Glee - I stopped watching it after I missed an episode in season 4 near the end of the season. Since the death of Corey Monteith I found it even harder to go back and try to watch the episodes I missed. I loved this show from the beginning even after I stopped watching it. I have no idea what happened in the finale and I don't want to know until I have myself a marathon of the entire show.
CSI - I've been a fan since 2002 when I started watching primetime in general and I still remember learning about what they were doing back when I was in grade 6 and applying what I learned from tv to my schoolwork. This show has been a part of my life since I was 11 and I'll miss it from the CBS lineup. Needless to say I'll be there for the 2-hour movie on Sept 27th to see the send off.

a list of 69 titles
A list of my favorite films of the '70s and earlier. Being a child of the '90s and '00s, I really haven't seen very many films from these times so lots of classics will not be added until I view them and add them if I feel I should see them over and over again.

Organized by decade then alphabetically.

I've apparently been going to the theatre since I was 18 months old. I was discussing what the first movie I've ever seen in a theatre was with my mom and we came to the conclusion that Aladdin was indeed the first movie that I've ever seen. That was how this list was inspired.

As I was going through the list of nominations over the last 86 years, I managed to find some very interesting nominations and snubs as far back as the 30s. I also found it interesting that 1930 held the Oscars twice and that the Best Animated Film category wasn't created until 2002.

A list of films, short films and documentaries - in no particular order - that I personally believe children should see before they grow up. I'm even including some classics that I myself have yet to see. I'm also up for recommendations for this list so if you have suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

If you want to use this list as a recommendation for your own children, be aware that some of these movies are rated PG-13-R so make sure that you use the list as is fitting for your own children.

This list is only in the order of which I remember them (a work in progress).

So for this year's resolution, I'm extending my goal to 7 years to watch all of my Blu-rays, DVDs and VHS tapes. By this point, I'll need to watch a minimum of 2 movies a day to make the goal. Fingers crossed it actually gets done this time.

a list of 92 titles
These are my personal favorite movies released in the '80s. A good chunk of '80s releases that I own I haven't watched yet so as I watch them (and rewatch the ones I haven't seen in over a decade), I will add them to the list if I find I cannot live without it in my library.

And if anyone is wondering my age to get some perspective on this list, I was born in 1991.

List Incomplete

A list of all of the shows I watched as a kid. The ones I loved, hated, loved to hate, hated to love and watched when there was nothin' else on. In short, if I was exposed to it as a kid, it's on here. Most of the shows that were still airing new episodes in 90s, I even had books of some of these shows and read them ALL THE TIME.

Series not listed in the IMDB library:
Are you Smarter Than a Canadian Fifth Grader? (2007)
Deal or No Deal Canada (2007)
D'Myna Leagues (2000)
Elmo's World (1998)
Fred the Caveman (?)
Mrs. Munger's Class (?)
Much in Your Space (2001)
Ollie's Under the Bed Adventures (2000)
PJ Katie's Farm (1995)
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (2006)
Who's Your Daddy? (2005)

a list of 34 people
All of these people have appeared on Veronica Mars either as a guest star, recurring guest star or special guest star. I know all of these actors for other things and was shocked to see just how many of them I knew from other projects.

For some reason IMDB won't let me add Paris Hilton to this list, but she's the third one on the list.

a list of 308 titles
These are my personal favorite movies released in the '90s. A good chunk of '90s releases that I own I haven't watched yet so as I watch them (and rewatch the ones I haven't seen in over a decade), I will add them to the list if I find I cannot live without it in my library.

They're all arranged alphabetically, as it would probably take me a good 2 or 3 years just to put this in order of my favorites.

And if anyone is wondering my age to get some perspective on this list, I was born in 1991.

a list of 378 titles
These are my personal favorite movies released in the '00s. A fair chunk of '00s releases that I own I haven't watched yet so as I watch them (and rewatch the ones I haven't seen in a while), I will add them to the list if I find I cannot live without it in my library.

They're all arranged alphabetically, as it would probably take me a good 2 or 3 years just to put this in order of my favorites.

During this decade I was 8-18 so it's quite varied throughout, even more so than my '90s list.

Again, these are my personal favorites not necessarily what was popular or liked by critics.

My personal favorite Christmas movies and other movies to watch during Christmas. It's not in any order except by memory.

Seasons greetings to all who check out my list!

a list of 63 titles
Self explanatory list. I've mentioned every movie in this list to multiple people and had the responses "What are you talking about?", "I never knew that was a movie", "I've never heard of (insert movie title) until it was in (insert different movie title)" and simply "What's (insert movie title)".

In my mind, these are basic movies everyone should have some kind of knowledge about or movies every kid should be growing up with. A few movies in this list were brought to my own attention by others as classic movies that they couldn't believe that I've ever seen.

a list of 18 titles
A list of Blu-Ray movies that I want to get that I do not yet own.

a list of 21 titles

a list of 15 titles

a list of 2,065 titles
Explanation: Starting in 2010, I tried to watch all of the movies that I currently own(ed) at the time for eachyear as a New Year's resolution. Since I had way to much on plate this year, this page will begin anew on January 1st as I find and/delete movies off of this list.

Once January 1st rolls around, I'll make it a five year goal, with the TV seasons.

Rules: For me to watch these movies, I have to physically put a disc or a vhs tape into a player and watch them. Watching them on cable/satellite/internet/PVR doesn't count for me.

Also as a side note, there will be many movies added throughout the years to this list. I also have a full time job and a full TV schedule so this will be incredibly difficult to get done.

This will also include all of the TV seasons/Mini-Series/Random Episodes that I own as well. I just want to make sure that EVERYTHING gets watched.
