Shaman Kingu (2001)
Great anime
This series airs in America on the Foxbot but unfortunately doesn't compare to the original uncut version that aired in Japan. Shaman King is about a 13-year old boy named Yoh Asakura who can control a 600-year old spirit named Amidamaru who helps him in fighting over shamans and spirits. It's still a good kids on show foxbox but anyone over the age of 8 will cringe at the voices and jokes. It's not hard to find import dvd's of the it so anyone into fighting anime like DBZ should give this a shot.
Ritânâ (2002)
Very Cool Action Flick
Forget the negative reviews of this movie from other users, this is a really great action film. The acting is actually great and all the characters fit thier roles perfectly. Yes, the film does "borrow" from alot of american films like E.T. and Terminator but the style makes up for it. Anyway if you can find this film by all means see it.
Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (2003)
Funniest show on TV
This is, without a doubt, the FUNNIEST show on tv right now. Taking footage from the insane japanese game show "Takeshi's Castle" and re-dubbing it in english makes for one huge laugh riot. It can get vulgar at times and some of the games don't translate as well as others but it is still always funny. If you liked Kung-pow you will LOVE this.
Koroshiya 1: The Animation Episode 0 (2002)
Very cool backstory
This animation is actually based on the manga origins of Ichi the Killer but could still plausibly coincide with the movie. It's well made and VERY GORY. Even worse than the live action because it's animated. Currently this is the only Ichi animation made but more should be coming soon. If you liked the live action movie diffenetly pick this up.
Terror Firmer (1999)
One of Troma's best
Just when you thought Troma couldn't make any shock-value movies anymore, along comes this. Terror Firmer is one of Troma's best movies they have made in their 25+ year history. Shocking, grotesque, nasty, and most of all funny as hell. You have to have a certain taste to appreciate this movie and its content but as long as you treat this for what it is, a low-budget, gross-out, gore and nudity fest, you will like it. Plus, the acting, especially by Will Keenan, is surprisingly good. The DVD is a must buy for any Troma fan as it has two discs worth of special features and behind the scenes footage.
Overall, I give this movie an 8 out of 10.
