And Just Like That... (2021)
No Big, No reason to continue past episode 1
Having found the show to be escapism tv full of shoes, fashion and beautiful people. This next chapter sucks! Why would Carrie put on "those shoes" to attend a recital? Especially when Big wasn't joining her! Her standing there like an idiot watching him die is so unrealistic! And of course "those shoes" are ruined. Insert eye roll. This crap sucks! And without my favorite character of Big, entirely not worth watching. Do yourself a favor and just watch the original series!
The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
A Sopranos' Fan Treat
I had read that Michael Gandolfini wouldn't appear until half way into the movie, while disappointed to discover that it prepared me. The trailers sell it as all about Antonio Soprano and if that's what you're looking for, well you will be disappointed. If you are looking for another very entertaining story by David Chase then you are in for a treat! Entertaining, funny, the actor playing Sil, kills it! His walk alone is worth watching. Livia is spot on and Uncle Jun delivers the funniest line in the movie. Michael Gandolfini is awesome! Again for a Sopranos' fan it's a real treat!
Queen Sugar: First Things First (2016)
Absolutely ridiculous
The bougie sister in high heels walks unto a NBA court during a game, a court that looks like a JV court and there's no security to stop her! Who wrote this garbage! The brother is named Raphael Angel, what grown man would go by such a ridiculous name? One episode and I'm done. Too ridiculous, too poorly written, too idiotic. Absolutely hated it.
The Sopranos: Eloise (2002)
Too much Carmela acting like a school girl
Paulie's character is in for quite a surprise and then does something surprising, good drama. John and Tony are interesting as always. Now for the boring: Carmela and her school girl crush and Meadow is as dull as always. If only the Sopranos kids would just disappear!
