My name changes to how and what I like. When I first came here I was all about elves. If a movie had an elf in it...buddy I saw it! Most of the times it was because the person playing the elf was just so damn sexy! Examples:
1). Elf just very well may be my favorite Christmas movie; Will may not be the hottest guy on the planet but he makes one very nice elf
2). The reason I saw Lord of the Rings was because I thought the elf was hot. Turns out he wasn't the only one. Legolas and Haldir are what dreams are made of![smile]
3). My favorite character from Ella Enchanted is the elf, Slannen. He's just hot and has a sexy voice (gotta love those Irish accents!)
4). And who could forget Bernard from the Santa Clause movies! He's the reason I loved elves...just so good looking...and it seems like he never ages![biggrin]
Then I changed it up to something that confused a lot of people...PRJunkieForLife. I don't think everyone got that it was about the Power Rangers. I got on this big PR (Power Rangers) fanfiction kick and was all about it. I was even writing one of my own...but then the computer blew up and I lost everything and I just haven't been able to return to that yet. But I will always love the Power Rangers!
Now it has to do with one thing I've been interested in for years...werewolves. I own both Underworld movies, Van Helsing, Blood and Chocolate, and I will buy Cursed next time I'm out and about. My new ID is the last name of my favorite werewolf, Remus Lupin of the Harry Potter franchise; the correct term for a werewolf, lycan; and then the last is the most obvious part...love them! I've also got a thing for vampires but I liked this name much better.
Some of the best shows are as follows:
DC (Dawson's Creek)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
How I Met Your Mother
Two and a Half Men
Dancing with the Stars
Big Wolf on Campus
Danny Phantom (I know...it's a cartoon but it's really cute!)
Some of my favorite movies:
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
The Fantastic Four
The Corpse Bride
The Italian Job
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Blood and Chocolate
Kingdom of Heaven
Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Burn the Floor
We Are Marshall (2006)
A movie for all ages...
i just got back from seeing We Are Marshall. before going into the movie theater i knew nothing about this movie. i had never heard about what happened in the 70s to that school. the theater was packed to the rim with people and normally that bothers me but this movie was so intense and emotional that i didn't even notice. the people sitting next to me had a young boy of about 7 and HE even enjoyed the movie. it's a really remarkable film. there's times when it's sad, funny, and even happy. i admit it...i cried like 5 times but it was so well scripted that it was hard to not feel for the actors in this movie. i felt like i was there at that school and what happened to them happened to me...i felt all the pain...and it was amazing. if you don't like to cry then maybe this isn't a movie you should see...but if you can handle sadness and despair then this is a definite must see movie because it is so eloquently scripted. i never once checked my cell phone to see what time it was...it was that good. i'm from shinnston wv and this movie hit close to home and i'm glad that i got to learn about something in WV's history that they don't teach you in schools. if this comment helps people or not...i really don't care...i just want people to know how it can affect some people.
Happy Feet (2006)
Funnier than expected...
I went and saw this movie on a Sunday night so there were like 20 people in the entire theater...not many kids...so I actually got to sit down, relax, and watch it. When I was watching the trailers for this movie I just laughed! Just watching the penguin dance gave me the giggles. Then I went and saw the movie and I laughed through the entire thing! When Mumbles first hatched and said that he was happy and his father asked him what was wrong with his feet and he said that they were happy too...I just laughed and laughed! It was the cutest movie i've seen yet this year. Now it might be a little scary for some of the younger kids...it got a little tense every once in awhile...but I would definitely pay to see it again. It just gave me a good feeling inside. The penguins seem almost human. I also think that this movie is a good way to raise awareness about what is happening to the penguins. Now, granted the movie was a little longer than I thought it would be...but I never once checked my cell phone to see what time it was and that is a sure fire way to know that a movie is good. I would definitely have to say that everyone should see this movie...it's not just for kids! Actually teenagers might like it better...they would understand more of it than a five year old would! It's the must-see-movie of the season! I suggest you go see for yourself!!!!
It surpassed my expectations
alright...so i went and saw this movie with my mom and i just figured that it would like all other Adam Sandler movies that i've seen...funny to the point of being the dumbest movie ever. well it was close to that. of course any movie with Adam Sandler in it is going to be funny...that's just a fact. but what i didn't expect was the fact that it would be a much more emotional movie than that. i cried...i will not lie...it was sad and heart wrenching. and i definitely wasn't expecting that...especially from an Adam Sandler movie but it was good none the less. i would have to say that it has to be a must-see-movie of the summer. but don't take my word on it...go see it for your self!!
Superman Returns (2006)
Blew my mind!
Alright...i'm not one of those comic book junkies but i do enjoy watching comics made into movies. I don't know if this movie was "true" to the comic book (most comic books made into movies aren't) but i do know that if you want to see a movie that has action, suspense, twists, and a little bit of romance then this is the movie to see. I was afraid that Brandon Routh wouldn't be able to fill the shoes left behind by Christopher Reeve but i believe that those shoes are now his! The movie was well written and directed...of course what else would you expect from the genius that is Bryan Singer? This movie ranks on my list of the top movies to see this summer. And FYI to girls who aren't interested in this kinda stuff...Brandon Routh has the sexiest voice i think i have ever heard. Brandon commands the screen and i can't wait to see him in the next Superman movie! This is definitely going to become a classic! Brandon Routh was born for the role of Superman...at least in my opinion. I urge everyone to go see it and enjoy! Trust me....it's worth the seven bucks. Let me know what you think of it after you see it! It blew my mind!!
