This was an excellent story about a woman as a positive role model. The documentary form was used well by Rouse and Lane. I've seen some of Rouse's other work on KET, like the Thomas Clark documentary. In this case, the writing and photography were excellent--very dramatic. The choice of Kinny Landrum for music was excellent. I understand he had another premiere in the same week. I saw this doc in the theatre before seeing it on television and it worked well both ways. I'm looking forward to Rouse and Lane's next work about renewable-sustainable energy. Hopefully, the same production team from media Collaboratory will be on board, with Chris McElhone, Erica Thomas and Alison Freels.
