I've just seen this movie. It is very rare even in Russia. The film is a kind of a propaganda of war when the USSR considered to attack Germany in 1939-1940. The fantasy about a short victorious war on the German territory. That's why after the beginning of a real war in 1941 the movie has been forgotten. The aerial combat scenes in the movie are great, the music is also very good. The story is about two soviet pilots who were hit over the German positions. They didn't surrender and continued their struggle against the enemy. After they have killed two German officers and got the German uniform they infiltrated the Nazi heagquarters and found a large underground airfield with lots of planes. They decided to destroy it.
