Franky is a sociopath
24 January 2023
Enjoyed all the seasons of the show but once I got into season 5 and 6 you put a sociopath in there Frankie. She was abandoned at birth and adopted by two gay guys who gave her anything she wanted and she was so mean to them and then sucked up to people to try to become their friends and did nothing but crap on them with a straight face and cold heart and no feeling at all. I understand this was to make things more interesting but actually it made me not like the series anymore because it was too depressing. That girl needs to be locked away she's not right. I'm not totally done with the series yet but maybe she will redeem herself but I think not.

Boring
18 June 2022
I'm on episode 6 and I'm still waiting for something to happen. It's very slow moving and not very interesting in my opinion. I'm going to finish it, I just hope it gets better.

I like this show but, please
11 March 2022
I thought The Fosters was a far superior show to this. That being said, this show is enjoyable, but please do away with the lesbian comic storyline. They are not funny,( not one of them has uttered even once funny line, ever) and all they do is sleep around and stab each other in the back. The other running storylines are good, but please give these girls a break and give them something good to do, because none of them are comics. I cringe every time they start to do a set.

Kept falling asleep
6 November 2021
I am a big fan of these types of movies, but this was the worst. As hard as I tried I just couldn't get interested in this one. I don't know if it was the acting or just the story in general, but for me it was dull and boring.

A slap in the face to true victims
4 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This woman is so annoying. She was yelled at a couple of times and acts like she was horribly abused. I wanted to grab her and shake her until her teeth rattled. She had so many people trying to help her and she just kept pushing them away and making more bad choices. Her husband tried to stop drinking and be better but she didn't even appreciate it, no wonder he drank. I'd be a raging alcoholic if I had to deal with her. And the way she treated Nate, leading him on was just plain insensitive. And her poor daughter, dragging her allover the place from shelter to flophouse then to a nice house then back to the trailer. I felt no empathy for her at all. And now I'm watching the last episode (I guess it's the last) and she is counseling domestic abuse victims? Why?

A snooze fest
19 August 2021
After 3 episodes, I had to force myself not to turn it off. Gonna give it one more shot. If the fourth episode is still this boring, that's it for me. Surely, there's got to be some point to all of this, then again, maybe not, we'll see.

Well he did do it or not?
15 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
In the flashbacks near the end showing that he did act as lookout changed the entire story. If he did act as lookout, he was obviously in fear of what they would do to him if he didn't. If so, he was not responsible for the robbing or the killing, that would have happened with or without him. He was a good kid, who was bullied into doing a bad thing. These things happen all the time. It is indeed a slippery slope.

Didn't need the ghosts
11 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This could have been so much better without the supernatural goings on. Betts relationship with the milkman needed more exploration than he just kidnapped her and shot her when she tried to get away. There was a missed opportunity to have her "gay" husband (Spartacus) hooking up with a black man. The very real horrors of racism were much scarier than the ghosts popping in and out of the story, and for me, just took away from the main story.

completely ludicrous
23 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is ridiculous. From the first part where Jennifer is committed without the court ever knowing who she is or even seeing her and the guardian selling all of her stuff, the botched attempt to get rid of her and her being able to so easily get to the mafia boss and then going into business with him..... It is just silliness on a grand level.

About two thirds the way through
23 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The acting is terrible and what I've seen so far is ludicrous. Their kid is missing and they are going around killing people? And they act like it's not a big deal that they are killing people. It's gonna have to be one helluva twist to turn this around because so far I just wanna turn this crap off. With all the good reviews on here I'm thinking I'm watching a different movie entirely, or these reviewers are easily entertained. No matter what happens in the end, it won't make up for the terrible acting and ridiculous storyline.

The acting was good
8 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Started out strong, but kind of lost it's way in the middle. It should have had more focus on the midwife and what she was going through in the middle instead of the husbands affair with the lawyer and the mother and sister. Martha should have come out at the get go and say that she insisted on the home birth, and that the blame didn't lie with the midwife. Could have been a great movie, but fell short.

Could have been much better
5 November 2020
This is a very good show, but I feel like it was too Jewish. Not being Jewish, or religious, I felt like the Jewishness overtook the overall message of the show and hampered the storyline. If you aren't Jewish, a lot of the story is kinda hampered by the Jewish rites and passages, which, if you aren't Jewish, make no sense. I wish they would have left the religion out of it, would have been more effective.

Is this a joke?

From the fake voice, to the horrible script, to the terrible acting, just plain atrocious. Adam Sandler kept his promise to make a terrible movie after being snubbed for an oscar nomination last year.

first season was good but...
4 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed the first season because it focused on the highschool football aspect. The second season devolved into silly teen drama and no more football. Hundred dollar tickets for an amateur rap show at a roller rink, come on.
