Danger Mouse (2015)
Scaredy Squirrel Done Right
Danger Mouse is a 2015 reboot of a British classic and I've have been hooked on it ever since early 2017. The cartoon is entertaining for all ages. Danger Mouse discovers that the baron is up to no good when he announced his retirement. There is such chaos and mayhem that you just can't help but laugh; when Pandaminion talks in a monotone simpleton voice and it will make you chuckle. One of my favorite episodes includes Danger Mouse breaking in to the professor's lab and growing a singing plant monster & he sang a the end credits. The characters are brilliant the stories are hilarious especially if you were a fan of shows that deserve to be on Qubo more than Johnny Test or Cloudy the TV series. (I still love Squid Girl and The New Woody Woodpecker Show- fantastic).
I'd rather watch This Just In than this piece of crap so-called cult classic.
Cloudy w/ a Chance of Meatballs is up there with Baby Looney Tunes on my list of Worst Cartoon Network series, which means it's near the #1 spot. What can I say about this show? Maybe that there's overuse of ass jokes, Robert De Niro jokes, twerking, toilet humor, farting, and pretty much anything else that anyone over the age of 9 shouldn't consider to be funny. It may be attracting for pedophiles, but it still shouldn't be shown to them because of the fact that there were much better cartoons that I watched growing up than Crappy with Chance of Cancer. You know, the cartoons that were not only attracting to pedophiles, but Nazis as well. This is not attractive to Nazis and hate mongers. This is an abomination to animation.
C'mon, this show is awful
Now I won't say this show is as bad as some abominations like CatDog, Goode Family, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs the TV series, ChalkZone or even Scaredy Squirrel, but good grief... this show wins hands down the laziest when it comes to quality animation standards. This feels like something a 12 year old would come up with. Who in their right mind thought this pathetic POS is good enough to be greenlighted? I think they need their head examined for mental insanity. That goes double for the creators themselves. Did they really think people would love something this badly produced? It's people like these why I have no faith in Shout Factory anymore.
Why does CN see hope in this show?
Yea, I said it and I'm sticking to it. Now, there has been other awful shows Canada has made. Like their horrid flash animated and gross out crap, but this? THIS is the absolute worst thing I have ever seen from them. DHX... actually trying to make their own version of Bordertown, another horrible show? WTH?! How the mighty have fallen... To think this once was responsible for making classics like Sticking Around, Cardcaptors, Sam & Max and Medabots is now reducing itself to this pathetic excuse. For shame... This show is freakin abysmal. What else is there to say about it? The characters are annoying, gross, obnoxious, rip offs of Bordertown and ChalkZone, and the plots are so contrived, it's literally painful to watch. Shame on you, DHX! Shame on all of you for making this abomination!
Ricky Sprocket, Showbiz Boy (2007)
Why so much hate? It's ChalkZone done right.
Ricky Sprocket is one of Canada's best original shows ever created and it really deserved a lot more seasons. It appeals to both children and adults with a lot of hilarious subversive humor that actually works. Too bad Nicktoons & NickSplat doesn't air shows like this anymore and ChalkZone is just a cheap ripoff of Ed, Edd and Eddy, yeah it was good for a time but now its pure crap and its time for them to bring this show back.
The Weekenders: Secret Admirer (2001)
First of all the animation is a really ugly eyesore and the characters should be something you found in the deleted files. They consist of some weakling leader, a geek, a token Afircan American, and a girl who's a dumb blonde stereotype (and no I'm not making that up but I sure wish I was). Not only is the artwork and animation ugly and semi-disgusting but it makes viewers question their own sanity or the state of mind on the team who put this together. Kuu Kuu Harajuku is better than this. Other than that, this show is just really lame and boring.
Whoever still likes this show is an idiot
How can anyone admire this abysmal abomination!!! This cartoon is made only for sadists!!! It's just Beast Wars and Sidekick fused together!!! So, that means it's incredibly hard to watch, both figuratively AND literally. Not only is this the 2nd worst third party show ever made for Nickelodeon, but this is, for a fact, the WORST thing Xilam has ever made!!!! Yeah, this show actually IS even worse than any live-action show, worse than any pre-school show, worse than anything by Teletoon, worse than the Breadwinner, worse than Planet Sheen, worse than Sanjay and Craig, worse than Rabbids Invasion, worse than Wild Grinders, worse than anything by Frederator, worse than anything by Fred Schineder, and WORSE than ANY of the BAD reboots. The only thing made by the world's first network dedicated to animated programming that might possibly be worse would be the upcoming second season Cloudy w/ A Chance of Meatballs, which is also from YTV, the channel aired Shuriken School!, and it seems is though that Nicktoons Network didn't learn their lessons, as THAT show will feel like Yakkity Yak! all over again!!! I was not surprised that Scaredy Squirrel and The Mighty B were influenced by Shuriken School!!!!! All this show is about is 3 kids going to school run by a Russian jerk who's a sadist, as in a demonic psychopath fool, that loves to watch people suffer, and that's it. The plot makes no sense, the animation is horrible, the characters are hateable, especially Vlad the Russian jerk, it's way too childish, it's way too annoying, it's way too loud, it's way too obnoxious, it's way too annoying, it's so cruel, abysmally heartless, and it's an INSULT to classic cartoons from Tex Avery, Bob Clampett, Looney Tunes, and the Fleischer Bros!!! Oh, you didn't know? Y TV, one of the guys who responsible this atrocity also carries CatDog, Beast Wars, ChalkZone, Tak and The Power of Juju, The Mighty B, Sidekick, Scaredy Squirrel, Pearlie, Being Ian and Cloudy the series. Uhh.... DO THESE EVEN SOUND LIKE CLASSIC??!!! Itchy and Scratchy, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, Yellow Submarine, underground comics, Mad magazine, and even Sam Singer felt sober compared to this atrocity!!! I don't understand how Tex Avery, Bob Clampett, Jim Henson, Fleischer Bros, OR DOUG TENNAPEL QUALIFY AS INFLUENCES!!! I understand how people could enjoy this show!, influencing adult cartoons for their creativity, but why have them as influences for Shuriken School!??!! Since how does Dr. Seuss qualify as an influence for this mess??!! It actually made sense if this was influenced by Happy Madison's DeNiro awful Live-Action Rob Schiender films!!!!! I don't even understand how Commen Scene Media gave this a high score, sorry for spoiling. This thing even felt like a mix between CattDog, ChalkZone, Scaredy Squirrel, Igor and Free Birds. The only likable characters Okuni and Ami, because I feel sorry for them!!! People actually like this show??!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!! Shuriken School! is so ANTI-90's Nickelodeon, that it deserves to be known as the worst thing Nickeloden IN GENERAL has ever made, ESPECIALLY for Xilam Animations
Kuu Kuu Harajuku (2015)
This is an improvement compare to Shuriken School.
Kuu Kuu Harajuku is a fun, fast paced show that has a respect for its audience by not being too much in their faces. The show has a very interesting premise, about a group of pop artist and their manager going on kawaii adventures (pun intended). Creative stories like this remind me of the underrated Canadian show, Grojband, it is debatable if this show falls in that category. What's great about this show is a few of the characters. G is the main character, she is a unique and memorable leader, and I honestly do like how she helps her teammates in a calm manner. Out of the other characters, 3 of them stick out to me as absolutely great characters: General No Fun is the anti-fun Nazi that is surprisingly really funny by how childish and comedic he can be. Chuy is the Boo-parodying Pomerania, seems sometimes to me as like a good image to G. The final one is the bubble wizard, Madame Shhhh, she gets some laughs mainly when she uses her jokes or tricks on some of the Harajuku girls. The other characters of the show I honestly think are OK, that includes the manager guy named Rudie, I mainly have seen him as witty comic relief, but he isn't a bad character. There is even that Zoo Keeper guy, who is also an OK character, especially being picky of G's friends, he can honestly be a little bit of a jerk. Something that I somewhat had a problem with in this show is that the the people can't stand this show. Like Ricky Sprocket, Planet Sheen and Breadwinners, I love them but people takes them WAY to seriously to the point where they had to treat them like the worst things they saw in their lives. However, the writers do sometimes a good job at making a different way of looking at these clichés and jokes by following the good stories that they write for the show. One final note that I have is the animation of the show, it is fast paced and it seems to fit the show's characters and premise decently. Overall, The Loud House is a good show(not great) that is worth checking out if you have interest.
Bordertown: High School Football (2016)
How is this allowed on television?!
You know a show is bad when you compare season 3 and 4 of ChalkZone and think it's a masterpiece compared to Bordertown. As someone who dealt with Scaredy Squirrel, this "show" somehow is even worse than Will & DeWitt. I find Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon, and yet I still find this show an unholy piece of crap. Fox think this is better than Allen Gregory, and that is just bullshit. I created an account here just because I need to say how bad this show (and others) is. You know what if it was just stupid I probably just ignore it. However, they make critic callout episodes that are just plain tacky. It is crazy that 50% of the voice cast had also worked on CatDog and Squirrel Boy!
Even Baby Jake is better than is crap.
As we all know Cloudy has lost it's touch by going beyond in this horrible version of the film and this episode is a fine example. You see The Mayor torturing helpless Flint and Sam for doing nothing wrong, you see Gil mindlessly annoying the views with ret@rded sounding voice, and to top it off you see Flint and Sam going the boarding school from Hell. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs really became just became so disturbing and morally wrong that you would not finish the show without having nightmares on the exact same night. Really it's that terrible.
Jeff & Some Aliens (2017)
Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs: The Series Done Right
Unlike those awful new Nelvana and DHX shows (Johnny Test, Sidekick, Scaredy Squirrel and Cloudy w/ a Chance of Meatballs), this one does not disappoint. Created by Sean Donelly (the man who best character in the show), this hilariously awesome and clever show came to our television. Comedy Central should be grateful to have this show, because this show doesn't have those awful fart jokes, they're not "trying" to be funny and would never do other things that really irritate us all. Two of my childhood Nelvana shows: Cardcaptors and Metabots are gone in North America. Because of that Nelvana ended up making those aforesaid moronic flash toons that makes The Nutshack look like The Loud House, and we all know for a fact that neither one of them are interesting. For The Jeff and Some Aliens, the characters are wonderful, the plots are unique and the animation is perfect. Lil' Bush & Brickleberry are good, but nothing can beat The Jeff and Some Aliens. My all-time favorite character is Andy, the infant turned adult man from episode 2. I really hope the show remains successful and doesn't become a failure like those shows Comedy Central gets viewer backlash that I also liked (except Goode Family). I give this show a 10 out of 10, and give a A++++++--++++.
What has CN and DHX Done to My Favorite Movie?
It's common today to see Hollywood remake movies and TV shows be remade as well. One of those remade shows was Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs, a show based on the 2009 film, which I praised in the past. The show has all the familiar characters from the films, Flint, Sam, Steve, and so on. Where the show starts to fall apart though is that the humor in this show barely has any humor in it and most of the jokes in this show are poorly done or are bad puns. The artwork and animation while not terrible, could have been done so much better, it can get choppy from time to time, and the main color this show has is grey, I know this is a ghost town, but why is 90% of the show in grey? It makes it look dead. The characters are barely funny and the humor they actually provide that is funny is very rare and its so boring. The only characters who stayed the same were Steve and Tim. There was plenty of potential for this show, but C.W.AC.O.M. proves that like most spin-offs, the original is way better. Go watch the original films, It's WAY better than this junk. If you do see this show on TV, make like Flint's food raining invention and fly away from this terrible remake of a classic.
ChalkZone: The White Board/Mellow Drama Falls/Journey to the Center of Yadda Yadda Yeti/Doofus Penny's Grand Op (2008)
Whoever wanted this on the Splat is an idiot! >;(
Hooboy, of all the Nick "classic" from the 2000s, this one was bottom of the barrel.
Why? Because no other show went out of its way to make the protagonist and his pals look like a complete bunch of idiots. Here's a few examples, along with a few redeeming factors Good things about ChalkZone
1. Candi Milo and Hyden Walch. When I first learned more about these voice overs, I was immediately impressed. These 2 has everything you could want, looks, speed and power. One of the few bright spots of the show
2. The season 4 redesigns. Now while these characters aren't outstanding, they are interesting to say the least. They did at least made one change. And hey, who doesn't think an update is fresh? 3. Too bad Nick didn't get good writers as well.
Now the bad things
1. Mr. Wilter and Reggie Bullnerd. Anyone with a brain can see this is ChalkZone's version of Professor Pamplemoose and Vana Glama from Sidekick. Although, there is one big difference. They aren't funny! If anything, they're annoying and lame. I mean, if you're gonna give a teacher and bully antagonist duo, couldn't they have at least been a bit more original?
2. Rudy, Penny and the school's relationship. As far as I'm concerned, this is the show that started the phenomenon known as the "Sucky School" trope. While Sidekick made it extremely obvious that the school they go to is very terrible, this show decided to throw a huge curve ball and make it look like everyone in the school hates both Rudy and Penny. Even CatDog supposedly confirms this is a spin off to that show. Sorry, I don't buy it. they say Mr. wilter is not evil, but rather strict! How dumb of an excuse is that? Oh, the teacher who obsesses over making his students lives a living hell, tries day and night to get these kids killed you every chance she gets, and Rudy can't even stand up to himself? That makes no sense whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, I don't entirely hate the idea of dictators ruling a school, but its best how the movie "Middle School: the WOrst Years of My Life". It's classic and funny in that movie.
3. House of Mouse voice actors being apart of this show. This was one of the dumbest things ever. Yes, I know House of Mouse is everyone's favorite Disney show, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a bad idea. There was no point in Viacom borrowing voice actors from Disney. And finally, the horrible things about ChalkZone.
1. The excessive new main characters in season 2. CatDog at least kept the new main characters who debuted in season 2 minimum. But this, what a disaster Nick made. I mean, did this show really need a Strict Principal, A garbageman gorilla who's nothing more than a cheaply made macho version of Dwayne from The Nutshack? This of course is one thing 2000s Nick was famous for, putting worthless new main characters in season 2 & 3 who carries nothing to the show. Yea, real nice touch.
2. The portrayal of Mr. Wilter. Talk about a contrast from Scaredy Squirrel. This villain was a complete joke. He wasn't the least bit scary or intimidating. But, I suppose I shouldn't be too hard on him. After all, this was season 2's concept. I guess they thought kids are too dumb and naive to know the difference between a quality villain and a lame one. The joke's on the people who liked this show though, since its blatantly obvious. I mean, he just sounds like a child throwing a temper tantrum. Even the voice actor who voiced Howie from Almost Naked Animals was better.
3. The characters Joe Tabootie and Bruno Bullnerd.
These 2 in my opinion are at near the bottom of the barrel, if not near the bottom. Why? Because these 2 didn't bring anything fresh and interesting to the show. If anything, they were totally annoying and obnoxious. Let's start with Joe. Did this really need a bumbling father type who talking in a bad Canadian accent? I guess they took a page from Spyro 3 with the Icy Peak polar bears. While the polar bear's accents made some scene, Joe's was just downright creepy. I mean really, what was the point in this? Are they trying to imply that the creators of the show hates Canada? I shudder at the thought of that. And now Bruno. Words cannot begin to describe how bad this character was. Think about it, what did Bruno mostly do during the show? Talk in a pitiful Brad Garrett impersonation. PATHETIC! Whoever thought of this character should be sent to a doctor to test if he was mentally insane. What were they thinking? Did Nick really need another cartoon capable for celebrity bashing? If they was going to do that, they should have done it right and get Brad Garrett to voice the character himself. But no, they had to water it down so it was quote, kid friendly. There's not enough face palms to show my disgust for this Brad Garrett hate boner.
Bottom line, this show was for the most part a total joke, a complete waste of ink (unless it was made in flash) and sound. But I put most of the blame on TV.com. They are the kings of asking networks to rerun crappy baby shows. Instead of making the show exciting, epic and funny, they instead made it lame, pathetic and boring. Thank you TV.com, you really produced quite a Nickelodeon classic.
Whoever still likes this show is an idiot!
CatDog is stupid, because Cat annoys people for no bloody f*ckin' reason! Man, if he tries to annoys Laney Penn from Grojband, then I will kill CatDog and then everybody will be happy that CatDog is Dead! The theme song is sh*tty. It just repeat the show's title over and over again. Why the hell is this still on the air? It should get taken off the air! I will never watch this sh*t in my entire life! The Splat, Don't watch this sh*t, Rerun Grojband.
Seriously, what can I say about this show? The ideas of Cat and a Dog sharing the same body is actually not that bad of an idea. Heck, it actually sounds promising... BUT... like with Johnny Test, the producers chose the lazy route. Cardboard cutout characters, terrible villains, horrible plots... unfunny jokes... it's just... ugh, WHY? Why do these hacks keep taking the lowest common denominator. Would it have killed you to put some freakin effort into shows like these? Or are you just that greedy to make money?
Being Ian: Truth in Advertising (2005)
Overrated and needs to leave the state
This Show is made by flash, you know how hand drawn animated shows but adult shows are all just ridiculous and all great adult shows, sometimes people love Anime and sometimes they don't. They try to ripoff Rocko's Modern Life and Home Movies, but Being Ian doesn't look familiar but similar to other Bad Shows that are so hard to watch and sometimes it's painful, Now this show decided to make it and use to owned by Studio B (now DHX) but is now owned by Nelvana to pander to the 7-12 demographic after losing the rights to Cardcaptors and Medabots, now the show got cancelled in it's home country in Canda and thank God. It is ugly and atrocious for the audience that will bang you're head on the desk.
Bordertown Done Right!
Finally, Comedy Central has produced another cartoon that people can relate to and is just has a charm to it. When I first saw this show I thought that it a parody to Adult Swim's body of work. But when I started watching some episodes I realized that this could be the next big thing, this could be the cartoon that saves adult cartoons modern horrible reputation! (Okay so maybe its not THAT good) While I was viewing the first episode i noticed that it has that Grojband Slice of Life feel to it which makes the show really nice. Its like the juicy cherry on top of a delicious cake. (if you ask me) I really hope that the people who read this comment go check out the show for themselves, and if you don't like it as much as I do then that's fine. Its just my opinion, but from my perspective this show it really shines threw all the crappy stupid lazily repeats that we want to forget that are thrown in our face these days (Example: CatDog, Baby Looney Tunes, Pearlie and Being Ian) Anyway, this cartoon definitely deserves a 10.0 or an A+ in my opinion :) the theme song is downright Bad A** as well)
My Life Me (2010)
Bordertown for kids.
This is one of the worst animated shows of 2010, along with Bordertown, Sidekick, Scaredy Squirrel, Teenage Fairtale Dropouts, Mighty B, Johnny Test and Boyster. Come on, Canada, you can do better than this. This crap is about kids being awkward in school. This is awful. It is ugly, it is bland and disgusting, and it is also a huge rip-off of Beavis and Butthead, It's not as bad as Scaredy Squirrel, Johnny Test, Mighty B, Bordertown, Sidekick, ChalkZone or Baby Looney Tunes. I thought these are the worst. But lucky for them and this show, CatDog is even worse!!!! Even this is better than CatDog. Stay away from this and CatDog. Get Mtv Classics watch Beavis and Butthead instead, which is awesome
I would rather watch Will & DeWitt than this piece of crap satire.
What else can I say, it's just that bad. When a show hardly has any character design whatsoever and has to resort to making the characters disturbing looking as all of Hell. Then you know its bad. And don't even get me started on the protagonist. Watching Bud being a jerk the only people who's nice to him & get in trouble by his foe and has a massive ego that always backfires. It's sickening.
Humor? What is that? says the writers, cause clearly their is none here. Unless your fond of fart jokes and laughing at how embarrassing the animation is, then you might find some enjoyment in here. But if your looking for a quality show that you can get at least a couple laughs from and watch episode after episode, this is not it. Sadly, ChalkZone, The Weekenders and Shuriken School is better than this, at least they actually try to make their shows somewhat decent.
Here, their is NO EFFORT put into this whatsoever, NONE. Stick with Rock and Morty and South Park if you want to watch some actually good adult cartoons, cause any mean-spirited animated show that has voice actors who voiced antagonist on CatDog, Squirrel Boy and House of Mouse will never get with the times, they'll always be dead last if they keep relying on toilet humor for everything.
Shinryaku! Ika Musume (2010)
The Anti-Mighty B
The first time I watched this show I immediately felt that I liked it. The show does a excellent to good job balancing the tween pounding aspects with the comedy aspects like that Star Vs. The Forces of Evil series on Disney XD and it felt that the writers of the show managed to keep every episode move steadily along without dragging on too much. I honestly think that this show does have a chance to do better along the way like Sailor Moon and One Piece did, since they became TV hits despite the fact that some fans of both hated their first English Dub. Hopefully after the character refence in Splatoon, All that will change.
Teen Titans Go! (2013)
This show is everything Baby Looney Tunes should've been.
Yeah I wish Baby Looney was this show. Teen Titans Go is a comedic take on DC's Teen Titans. The best favorite super hero parody show I ever like. Probably DC's take on Nicktoon's Wild Grinders, A show that Yakkity Yak should have became.. It has Some great comedy like "familiar" other shows including Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island, Oggy and The Cockroaches(I wish Nick would give it another chance though..:P),Mr. Bean: The Animated Series, Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, The Wacky World of Tex Avery, Zig and Sharko, Space Goofs and blah blah blah...This along these shows is everything Baby Looney Tunes should have been.
CatDog: A Very CatDog Christmas (1999)
Waist of a decade, like ChalkZone.
I'm stunned to see a show as bad as CatDog hasn't been buried in shame like it should have been years ago. It's not only one of the worst cartoons to ever hit the air, but is also one of the biggest rip offs of all time. The show centers around the titular duo, in particular on Cat, a character that never gets any respect. The premise doesn't sound that bad, but after you see how it's handled, you'll be wishing this show would be canceled.
If you watch this show, you'll quickly realize how much this show looks like Mike Judge's hit show, Beavis and Butthead. I don't mean it rips it off a little, it rips it off almost point for point. From the whole idea of the 2 dimwit causing trouble in town, to most of the character designs, and to how some of the characters act, you'll know this is nothing more then a cheap clone of Beavis and Butthead. Unlike that show though, this one here goes and scrapes the bottom of the barrel and is nothing like the beloved Beavis and Butthead.
If there is one word I could describe CatDog, it would be repetitive. Everything in this show is so repetitive and monotonous. The plots are downright recycled and all pretty much play out the same way. Something strange happens, Cat is butt of joke, wines and complains, learns nothing. Rinse, recycle, and repeat and you got this show in a nutshell. Very rarely, and I mean in a blue moon, will you see some two-parter episode, but even then those are recycled. It's not just the plots though, it's pretty much everything else. All the jokes are repeated and are NEVER funny at all, especially that "Cat Butt" joke. The same dialogue is used from time to time in other episodes. Even the same sound effects and zooming in of the camera when a character freaks out is overdone.
The characters themselves are awful, especially our so called "hero", Cat. He claims to be some smart character, but in reality he is a selfish, arrogant, jerk who thinks he's better then everyone else. He constantly disobeys his brother, he'll blackmail someone into doing something for him, ruin a life of a character who was nice to him, and get's punished for it. He's NOT cool at all, this cat is a blackmailer, whiner, and thief. The other characters are no better at all. Not only do some of them steal character designs from Beavis and Butthead, but they are just annoying and irritating characters that are unlikable and are forgettable. Even the villains are awful. Rancid Rabbit Boy is nothing more then a Buzzcut wannabe and acts like a complete idiot most of the time. Eddie constant says he wants to be a greaser that could make King Malbert from Igor look like the The Mayor from Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. None of these characters are likable, much less are they really interesting and cool.
The artwork and animation is another issue worth gripping about. While the set designs are mediocre at best, they all look unimaginable and may even be ripped off from other cartoons, but considering this show and how much it rips off Beavis and Butthead, that should be no surprised. The animation is just dreadful though and is horrible in almost every way. The characters move in such an awkward way that it looks like they all have arthritis or something and lip syncs seem to be off in almost every scene.
I can't recommend this show to anyone at all and urge everyone to stay away from this awful piece of garbage. Everything in this show is so repetitive from the jokes, to the writing, and to the plots. The characters, especially Cat, are awful nor are they likable in any way, shape, or form. The artwork is awful and the animation looks very poorly done. I don't know why The Splat is still letting this show air and giving it the green light, but I hope somebody there finally realizes how bad this show is and give it the ax. In the meantime though, do yourself a favor and avoid this show at all costs.
My advice is to just watch Nick on Friday to see Sanjay and Craig which which has new episodes instead of watching this, believe me you'll actually have a better time with this show than CatDog.
House of Mouse: Dining Goofy (2002)
Bad Episode Idea for Goofy
The only good thing about this show is it's concept of half of the Disney library come to the same room at once. All other elements in this show are very toned down, budget-saving, lazy interpretations of the beloved and original Classic Collection. The laziness is especially blatant through the animation and writing. The animation is really chunky to watch, needlessly way too fast-paced (as if it's trying to rush through it's lost characterization) and all the characters seem to be pulling random items from their @** without reason. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was better than this and it came after this, and hell it surpasses this show in every single way with the only exception of the show's hatedom. It's not charming at all to watch imo and you might as well replace the watch time you spend on this poor excuse of a Disney incarnation and watch the originals shorts and films these character came from. It's worth it and you won't regret connecting back with the enlightening nostalgia.
This is why I watch Teen Titans Go and Total Drama
And worst of all, it's adored by THE NETWORK!!! JUST END IT AFTER SEASON 1!!!!! OK, Season 3 is getting WORSE! I hope cartoon Network sees the ratings and take off this terrible excuse for a show. Bugs was so fun to watch in the original series. Here he's an unlikeable bastard who tries too hard to be perfect & has annoying voice. Daffy and Sylvester have become TOTAL IDIOTS! Taz went from a fearful creature to a copy of Mr. Sunshine (the one from CatDog, remember) Tweety is the only likable character in this show, but do they have to alter his voice to sound younger?! ALL the villains (Taz and Sylvester) have become unlikeable in this bland spin-off. And there's this Taz, You Like it episode that should BE BANNED! My Score is 1/10 this still sucks PS, this quote will explain it all "I don't hate Baby Looney Tunes because it's nothing like the original. I hate it because it's painfully unfunny"
Ban this crap!
How many times is Cartoon Network going to do this? First Gym Partner, then this, Sidekick and Scaredy Squirrel and now Shark Tale. This show is poorly animated and not funny. Also want to point out that the bully character is supposed to human. He doesn't even look like a human being at all though. And why his butt WAVE?!?! REALLY CARTOON NETWORK!? ON A KID SHOW!!? SO DISTURBING TO WATCH!! Speaking of the main characters, what kind of names are Oscar and SALTY MIKE? It just sounds stupid. Does Cartoon Network really not care about their viewers anymore? At least Disney has Gravity Falls. Nick has Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, Pig, Goat, Banana, Cricket etc. What does CN have, huh? Plus, I had read somewhere that on its 4th week airing, this show was TV.com's top rated for kids ages SHOW WAS THE BEST AT ITS TIME?!! NO, JUST NO! THAT IS ATROCIOUS! But however, even after all this crap being tossed at us. Amongst all the bullsh*t to put up with, we still have Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe and POSSIBLY We Bare Bears. If We Steven Universe can just get enough air time on CN more often, it could be CN's new big hit. As for the WBB cartoon coming up, I'm actually hoping that it's at least decent. Knowing Cartoon Network though, they will screw it up.
CN effortless predecessor to Sidekick
This show is probably one of Cartoon Network's worst shows ever, and that is saying a lot. For one, this show is all about fart jokes, but they can't even do it right. Especially that one episode called "Lonely Lyon". I remember seeing a SEASON 1 SANJAY & CRAIG EPISODE that did better fart jokes than Gym Partner. Also, these characters look a lot like the ones in The Ripping Friends. I know they're made by the same art style, but you cant just rehash character models into a different show. Look at Rocko's Modern Life and Camp Lazlo for example. They're both made by Joe Murray and they don't look alike. Overall, don't bother with this show. It is absolute crap
