All You Need (2001)
Kellie Martin is terrific in this film
11 May 2001
It's not the most original film ever written or produced, but it is an interesting story of a young woman who is learning to make her own decisions. Kellie's character, Beth, has always done what's expected of her. In this movie, Beth has to live her own life for a change. Kellie Martin is sincere and honest and she looks great. The rest of the cast is fine, too. The film might have done better as a Lifetime movie or something similar... more people would have seen it that way. I hope to see more work by Kellie Martin and Randy Ser in the future.

Doc: Pilot: Part 1 (2001)
Season 1, Episode 1
Charming, witty, generous and good natured; I love Doc
17 March 2001
What a great show. Everything is wonderful - the acting, the story, the writing and directing. Billy Ray Cyrus is terrific; he is a natural actor and he is gorgeous. Claudette Mink is wonderful as his woman in the first show. I cannot think of a single complaint for this good hearted, wholesome show. It is a terrific doctor show. I love Doc.

Christy: The Movie (2000 TV Movie)
Christy fans now have two beautiful Christy series
14 January 2001
What a bonanza for fans of Catherine Marshall's Christy! First there was the original series, with Kellie Martin as the innocent, intelligent young schoolteacher. That series endures on cable tv, but now we have a second Christy to admire. Lauren Lee Smith is a taller, more mature Christy. She shines in her very real chemistry with the doctor, my choice for husband. Lauren Lee Smith reminds me of a young Julia Roberts. That is a giant compliment. The actor who plays the doctor, Stewart Finlay-McLennan is quite possibly the best actor on television. He brings the character of Neil MacNeill to life, as though he stepped out of the pages of the book. Now we have two Christys to love, Kellie Martin and Lauren Lee Smith, each beautiful and special in her interpretation of the character.

An intelligent, innocent schoolteacher comes to life

Kellie Martin does a wonderful job of bringing Catherine Marshall's heroine to life. Kellie is smart, convincing and lovely in this role. The series is has something for everyone - romance, drama and a universal message of faith. Christy is the best!
