i've got an idea for a movie, and it goes like this....., 15 October 2001

what can i say about this film that hasnt already been said? well to tell the truth alot of it looks very fake like some of the slaps and the kicks. how charlie sheen though this was real i dont know. im sure they would be hitting and kicking her alot harder if it was. however the scenes with the pinching and the hot oil look very real. and the final needle in the eye scene is amazingly done and is probibly the only thing on film that has ever shocked me.

i had been reading about this film for around about a year then i had the chance to get hold of one. when i watched it i couldnt belive how good the effects are. the way the hand moves after it is cut off is amazing and the scene with the removal of the eyes is also very well done. the only thing u can enjoy about this films is the effects as there is no plot.

troma at its best, 13 October 2001

terror firmer is a great film but i guess you have to have a taste for troma to enjoy it. i showed a friend it and he said it was the worst movie he had ever seen. Lloyd is great as the blind director larry (he is kinda playing himself in this movie. I also thought that his daughter was good in the film too. there is a lot of very fake gore like legs getting ripped off and escalators eating fat guys. but overall its a great film and the best troma have ever made.

unlike it seems with faces or death and traces of death films (i'm not sure as i havent seen any of them) this film doesnt set out to just shock people. it actually gives good evidence against executions. its a very interesting documentry and show a few executions but the last scene is very disturbing. a guy who had been convicted of a car bombing in some arab country is laid down and shot in the face and chest a few times with a machine gun. the narrator then says he was left to die and it took 60secs before he did.

how can a director that makes such great films as poltergeist and the texas chainsaw massacre make such rubbish as this? i got this film off a friend and he didnt want it back its so bad. how this can be classed as horror i will never know.

tho this is a very enjoyable film there doesnt really seem to be much of a plot. tom hanks is getting married so his mates throw him a party. his wifes mum and dad dont want him to marry their daughter and tom has a good time at the party. that it as far as plot goes really. tho his wife is kidnapped for all of 5 minutes.

a fun film 7/10

this film is very bad but then thats what makes it good. its a great film to watch with your friends just so u can laugh at all the bad acting and the bad lines and the bad monster. i dunno if any of u remember boglin puppets but thats what the main monster in this movie looks like to me.
