HOW IS THIS MOVIE IN FRONT OF THE MATRIX ON THE TOP 250?
This movie is the worst ever, and the Matrix was the best ever! This movie was simply pathetic!
Just because Robert Deneiro was in this movie doesn't mean that it's good. Just because he was good in other movies does not mean he was good in this one. This was just not a part for him. And Martin Scorsese really screwed. I just can't express how much of a dissapointment this was, and how much of a dissapointment it was seeing it rated so high.
Do not see this movie. Give it a 1 on the rating.
well, I can't say much for the plot of this movie, but I still think it was
a good movie.
I never found myself much of a Bond fan probably because I just didn't like
the idea of Bond, but I still liked this movie.
James Bond becomes the body guard of Elektra King, who is like the leader of
Azerbaijain (my favorite country name) after she is kidnapped and her father
gets killed. Should this movie have had no SFX or no Denise Richards, it
would have been a hopeless flop.
However, it did have lots of acting and SFX. Lots of guns, explosions, and
whatnot. And, of course, it had Denise Richards.
Denise Richards is the perfect woman, I believe. Look out for the "wet shirt" sequence because it's one to remember.
This movie is a good one to see but you needn't worry about "missing something" with the plot. If you find that the plot seems to be useless then don't worry, you aren't missing anything. That's just the way it is. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the wet shirt scene.
The first half of this film was absolutely brilliant. It was an honest
of life in the core. The characters were great. The drill instructor
unleashed many vulgar, memorable quotes that I will never forget. He also
showed how life in the core is REALLY like (though I wouldn't know myself,
could tell that this was it.) Private Pyle was a very interesting
In the beginning I thought that he was simply not cut out to be a marine,
but as the film went on I became very interested in his transformation to
mental case. The first half of the film is #1 on my top 10 list, even
I saw the movie on a small TV with bad sound.
The second half of the movie, after the group "graduates" from Paris Island, is not nearly as good, and I didn't see a good deal of it because I stopped watching after a while. It focused on a character from the first part of the movie, Joker, who often makes wisecracks that get him in trouble. I didn't like this character. I think that the most dominant characters in this movie were killed at the end of the first half of the movie, and that the second half was not needed. I did catch the last scene of the movie. After many have been killed the group marches away chanting: "M-I-C K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E Mickey mouse (mickey mouse) Mickey Mouse" and a few other lines added. I thought that this was both a brilliant ending and simply a cheap ending. Perhaps if I saw all of the second half i would understand it better.
In conclusion, When Pyle goes psycho (i'll never forget the look on that face of his), and shoots the drill instructor and then himself, is where the movie should have ended. If you see this movie, stop watching when this happens. The movie will be a lot more meaningful to you.
I give this movie a 10 for the first half, and a 5 for the second. Yet the first half is so powerful, I still give this movie as a whole a 10.
The Matrix was the best movie ever. It had an amazing plot that still awes me, it had amazing special effects and great fighting scenes, it's only problem was Keanu Reeves. If you haven't seen this movie, see it even though Keanu Reeves is in it. It's still the best movie ever. You know what they should have done? They should have gotten Charlie Sheen to star in it. That woulda been aweseome.
