Warning:potential spoilers!

Some twenty years after the death of Cornelius & Zira, their son Caesar, who under the care of Circus man Armando (Ricardo Montalban), decides to lead a revolt against the humans enslaving apes.Roddy McDowall gives a good performance as Caesar, the rebel chimp. There are a number of flaws:some bad acting, cheesy make-up,the film is a worthy sequel.Followed by "Battle for the Planet of the Apes".

THE epic comedy, 2 February 2002

An enormous amount of famous comedians compete to find money under a big W.One of the few of its kind,Stanley Kramer's epic comedy features an amazing cast:Spencer Tracy,Milton Berle,Sid Caeser,Buddy Hackett,Phil Silvers,Jonathan Winters,Mickey Rooney,Ethel Mermin,Terry Thomas,Eddie Rochester,Buster Keaton,Dorothy Provine,The 3 stooges,Don Knotts, and lots others. The biggest problem is the length, which clocks in at over 2 1/2 hours, but there are enough cameos & laughs to keep your attention.Filmed in Ultra Panavision 70,widescreen is the best way to watch this movie.

Engrossing, 2 February 2002

D.A. Jim Garrison risks everything to find out who killed JFK.Absorbing, intelligent film with fine acting from a great cast including Costner,Pesci,Jones,Oldman and others.Lots of people have dismissed this movie as hogwash, but after watching this, you feel convinced that Oswald did'nt pull the trigger.Oscar winner for Robert Richardson's cinematography & Joe Hutshing's editing.

A good thriller., 2 February 2002

Gregory Peck plays a small-town lawyer(he won an oscar for playing a lawyer in another '62 movie)whose family is terrorized by an ex-con played by Robert Mitchum.Directed by J. Lee Thompson ("The Guns of Navarone),the film features a terrific performance from Mitchum, and a terrific score courtesy of Bernard Hermann.Remade in 1991 with Robert De Niro & Nick Nolte in the main roles.

Quite funny, 2 February 2002

In a plot similiar to 1963's "It's a Mad,Mad,Mad,Mad,world",numerous people compete to get to 2 million dollars.Although it does'nt feature a cast as big as IMMMW,the cast is good, including Cuba Gooding Jr. as a bad football referee,Jon Lovitz as a family man who drives Hitler's car,and Rowan Atkinson as an Italian tourist.Lots of laughs.Directed by Jerry Zucker, the same guy who worked on that comic classic "Airplane!"

Pretty bad, 31 January 2002

WARNING:POTENTIAL SPOILERS!

Christian Bale plays a wall street yuppie who kills people in his spare time.Quite ugly with lots of violence throughout,Willem Dafoe has pretty small part.Bale is pretty good, but rest of film is fugly. The best part is when Jared Leto gets an axe in the face.
