One of the worst films ever.

Lame, lame, lame. Poorly directed, muddled piece of garbage. Ed Norton's performance is only slightly embarrassing. Over-simplified message that is at once sensational and boring.

Poor Woody Allen. Instead of being INFLUENCED by Bergman, he temporarily BECAME Bergman. A third rate one at that.

Girls on the Beach is one of the most satisfying films of its genre. A beautifully realized screenplay of straight-to-the-point dialogue and acting that borders on Kabuki theatre. And of course there's the great songs of Leslie Gore and The Beach Boys. The ending is pure magic realism.

Bob Duvall is becoming tiresome - he's starting to parody himself now. And what's with the southern accent slipping in when he's a Boston attorney? The movie starts out good then falls apart after the second half. Unsatisfying.

Booooring. Didn't use the characters well- there was little interaction and chemistry. Boring story with stupid new age hippies running around in earthtones. Cheesey computer generated effects. Bad news.

Makes an extremely interesting story dull and pretentious. Rent the mini-series "Elizabeth R" with Glenda Jackson instead.

Perhaps the worst movie of the year so far. Simple-minded, preachy, boring, poorly directed, lousy use of special effects. A waste of time for Joan Allen and Bill Macy. Avoid!

Possibly the worst film ever made. Robin Williams tries to squeeze tears out for two hours (unsuccessfully). Visual effects are U G L Y ... digital vomit! the most simple-minded view of "heaven" ever put on film. stay away !
