Medical Marijuana Infomercial

"Cannabis Evolution" is a long infomercial about medical marijuana rather than a documentary. The video that accompanies the audio lecture has the look of having been assembled from vaguely pertinent stock clips. The repetitive, canned visuals really detract from the content and the result fails to do justice to a fairly important subject in alternative medicine.

I felt like this had some pretty good information. However, I couldn't get past the extremely odd visuals that went along with it. The music also made it seem low budget and cringeworthy.

Would be better as a audio book

Its the horrible stock video clips that are just weird during the story. Talking about diseases like herpes and seeing a guy laugh really sinister for way too long with a white medical coat that is way too big. Just listen to it instead of watching it, convert it to mp3

All B Roll and People Who Look Like Druggies

This documentary doesn't have new or interesting information. It is full of B roll (as apposed to original content) and the actors look like druggies, which is not good for the image of cannabis. Needs more information on the studies to show the scientific validity of the studies.

Nothing new

Cannabis has been around for thousands of years and has proved its value for mankind from the outset. Unfortunately since the 1900's governments started banning this substance as they had lost the knowledge that their forefathers had.

This documentary does not really put a new angle to this most misunderstood plant. The narrator sounds monotonous and keeps repeating a certain word which becomes annoying to hear. A poor documentary with nothing new to add to this very important topic.

This is why they want to keep it from us. A cure and a life changer. This video tells you how long and how connected we are. A must see for someone looking for a better life, living with any disease or chronic illness.

Maybe have a talk with your audio engineer.

I kept thinking this show was out of sync with the audio. From the beginning to the awkward still images at the end. I just don't think this was well made. A kid with an iPad and iMovie could have done a better job.

As a 52 year old, curious about CBD, I thought I knew everything this show had to offer. I was wrong. And I suggest any elder who has heard about CBD and would like to know more. I recommend this. I didn't know about Dupont and Henry Ford's fight. And had my doubts. Googled it, found several articles reflecting that.

But I do agree with others on the visuals, poor job on them. Just close your eyes and listen to it, was better IMO.

Oversold what it can do and who it can benefit

You start with outrageous anecdotal claims ....Yes for some it does work...But dropping their Meds which a Vet said he wanted to do after watching this CAN GET PEOPLE KILLED. I know this helps sell your movie. I am absolutely pro marijuana but it has it's limitations and the refinement of what dose ...what metabolite, what lineage is far from accurate in available locations.

I worked under the Senior Medical Investigator of the US studying marijuana and THC. Vice Admiral Professor emeritus Stanford. Fired (1974) for saying the only thing dangerous about Marijuana is when you spray it with paraquat.

None of his research ever called into question. Junior in group was the Senior Med Res for alzheimer's and dementia. Yes it is and should be elevated in modern medicine but over selling it can get people killed . The first 5 minutes will be what they remember.
