Toni_With_An_I What an amazing short film written and directed by @marcoalessifilm and Toni played by the wonderful talented @maddie_holliday . I have just watched this film twice tonight and WOW I am so impressed with what they have done in the 12 Minutes that they have had. Firstly this is about the I in Toni_With_An_I connotes identity as everyone in there life goes through whether to stay true to yourself do not care what anyone else thinks otherwise about you, therefore especially with social media it is even harder nowadays. It is a great tool and fun place to be nevertheless the biggest problems is bullies being able to cowardly and anonymously bully you with hateful comments online. Especially on places like Instagram commenting on pictures about what you look like and what you are into. Places like YouTube from doing YouTube myself when you are in school is really tricky as bullies tend to get some kind of jealousy just because you are being true to yourself and having fun online posting content on social media like Instagram and YouTube and getting hate for it, which I particularly suffered myself when I was in high school and it can be so toxic. This is what I love about this film even though the bullies did get to Toni who as it would normally affect most people in those situations she stayed true to herself and kept her identity like the I on the end of her name. She chose to perform up in class doing what she loved dancing and lipsinking to videos even though knowing that bullies could troll her with the video online. Toni prevailed through still keeping her identity all through these mean comments. Supportive comments came towards the end of the film finally made her not doubt herself anymore and it just made the bullies seem idiotic, which bullies like that are. Anyway the moral of this emotionally up and down story so amazing is to stay true to yourself even in the modern internet age full of social media no matter what anyone says be eccentric do not conform to typical stupid behaviour just be yourself. Toni did and kept her identity I did with my YouTube Channel and social media as starting true to your identity is key like Toni.

More than a lovely film, it is a profound useful encouragemnt against all forms of herasment , an adorable kick to be yourself. Short, just splendid scene by scene

I really liked this short it was very enjoyable I liked the way it was filmed in the 4:3 ratio it deserved the BAFTA nomination in the short form programme category. So I would defo recommend this short programme.
