he second half of the 1/4 Kourakuen card has been set. In the main event Miyu Yamashita will defend her PuriPuri championship against the fighting idol Maki Ito. In a twist on Princess tag match from the 1/4/2018 Kourakuen show, Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki will defend the Princess Tag titles against Yuka Sakazaki's former tag partner Shoko Nakajima and Mizuki's former tag partner Riho. Finally in a special singles match Reika Saiki will be facing off against the formidable Meiko Satomura
Azusa Takigawa has retired (I'm sad).
This is Tokyo Joshi's 5 year anniversary. Their first self produced show was on 12/1/2013. It featured 8 women and a total of 3 matches.
This show will be Yuu's last match as a member of Tokyo Joshi pro wrestling. For her farewell match she will face off against wrestling trainee classmate, debut mate and friend, Tenma Nodoka. To date Nodoka has never beaten Yuu in singles competition. Yuu is set to tour Europe for the next 3 months. It is unknown if and when she will return to Tokyo Joshi. (I'm sad)
Marika Kobashi partially separated a shoulder at the beginning of the summer and is currently rehabbing. Hopefully she will return by the 1/4 Kourakuen show (unofficially I think will. I think she's find and they're waiting until Kourakuen to pull the trigger).
Saki-sama has returned to Paris. She is not scheduled to appear at any cards in the immediate future but recently appeared at Takigawa's graduation. So expect the unexpected.
Rika Tatsumi has injured her arm and will not be competing for the foreseeable future.
Veda Scott has returned to Tokyo Joshi. The bespectacled westerner will be working in Tokyo Joshi until about the middle of January.
Trainee Yumi has now become "YUMI." She will face Saki Akai at this show for her debut performance. YUMI is only 14 yet she is already one of the tallest members of the roster at 173cm or 5 foot 8. This match promises to be a lot of leg.
Another trainee is scheduled to make her debut at the upcoming Tokyo Joshi 1/4 Kourakuen event.
There should still be 2 more trainees more women working as trainees waiting to debut in the future.
The Up Up Girls will have a New Year's Eve event where they will debut new ring gear, new names and a new song. I've seen production sketches of the costumes and they're much more individualized than their current gear but still keep an overall vibe of being a group and look as if they keep their same color schemes.
