Sweet film on unrequited love
laduqesa21 April 2023
There were films within films here. Guillermo deals with his paramour's infidelities and indifference by wanting to make a film about it as a catharsis. During the filming, he's sidetracked into helping with a documentary about Syrian refugees.

As both projects roll on, we see Guillermo's point of view change about life and love.

The film was shot extraordinarily competently and the dialogue was germane and unforced. The progression of the narrative was true to life especially regarding the shooting of the autobiographical film.

I was pleased to see that Samir was prepared to speak out publicly against homophobia. And I got a guilty pleasure that his family would be embarrassed in front of their relatives. They deserved nothing less.

I enjoyed this short film.

beautiful

A beautiful beginning and a lot of problems in a large circle, from love story reflected in a movie too personal to the refugees problem and second chance. Its beauty is the result of delicate perspective and for a touching simplicity. So, a fresh subject, a beautiful film.
