This was just a prelude of Aurora's journey as an original artist to become a commercial musician

My first contact with Aurora wasn't an instant passion as much many other fans can have experienced. A friend of mine send me a live performance of Warrior, and I judged cool, but not compeling enough. In that time, I was happy and have good friends.

Then life happens, I broken a relationship, isolates from my friends and developed depression. In my most darkest hour, when was just surfing in internet to minimize my pain, I rediscover Aurora. Suddenly, I fell the light and warm of Sun on my skin again.

It was really a point of hope in my life. How could she exist? His purity, naive and talented personality, so protected and perfect: a norwegian of a lovely family, the youngest of three sisters who pulled all the recessive genes for herself, a true sensitivity genius of music with one of the most touchable voices in this Earth.

Her first songs carry so much beautiful, not only in her angelical voice, but in her dark lyrics. Always telling about a free spirit trying to living her best in this ephemeral world.

Murder Song, Under the Water, Churchyard, Winterbird and Awakening, just to mention a few, are truly messages from a young girl who turn the cold of existence in her safe place.

I was truly obsessed, and after a few weeks, I feel like I was watched every perfomance and interview of her available on YouTube and, yet, I was sad of all other perfomances that she made who wasn't recorded and will be forever lost in the time and in the memory of some lucky ones.

But then, when I see this doc for this first time, I first realize that someday, our lovely and sweet Aurora who become a friend of mine when I most needed, will eventually grown and go to the world. She wasn't and never will be this idealized persona that we as fans around the world created to themselves.

We was just spectators of her personal journey to accept how things really are in this industry, and become a well-selled musician. I think this phase officially began with the release of Cure for Me and what came next.

But before all of this sucess, she fights was a true free spirit, and captivating so many admirers along the way.

And for this, she will always be a genius, as this doc made clear.
