- TriviaAt roughly 14 minutes into the episode, there are two shots of monitor screens in the off track betting facility that show lists of horse's names. At the bottom of each list are references to Patton Oswalt, the voice of Happy. The first horse's name is "It's Chaos, Be Kind". A tribute to Patton's late wife. The second horse's name is "Remy the Rat", the name of Patton's character in Ratatouille.

"What happened to the fun?"
There is a point in this episode where Nick Sax turns to Happy and says "What happened to the fun?" and that is exactly how I felt watching it. While there were some entertaining moments(Blue wanting to become a cowboy got a chuckle out of me) the whole thing just felt uneven and uncomfortable, while the first season drew me in very quickly, after two episodes I'm still waiting for the plot to get rolling. Also, in Season 1 there was always at least one big scene of Nick beating the crap out of thugs per episode, sometimes there were two or three, but there really hasn't been a big fight scene in either of these episodes which is kind of disappointing. The day with Haley plot also felt kind of needlessly dark, not funny, just cruel, which is a staple of this series I just don't feel it hit the mark nearly as well as last weeks outing. There are still some great performances, and Christopher Meloni did a good job directing, but all in all this was a weak episode. Here's hoping next week brings better things.
