Titles: NEKOMI GENERAL HOSPITAL
Belldandy: Keiichi... are you awake...
Keiichi Morisato: What happened?... What day is it?
Belldandy: Keiichi... I know this isn't what you want to hear right now... but I need you to listen to me. That night... when we made love... you suffered a heart attack... One that you might not be able to recover from... we don't have the money to pay for the surgery... and the insurance isn't going to cover us...
Keiichi Morisato: Have you tried contacting Fujishima?
Belldandy: Urd already tried... it didn't work out... I need you to listen to me... nobody is going to help us... because nobody is taking this matter seriously right now... they are all laughing at us... they think this is all a practical joke... and by the time they realize it's not, it's going to be too late...
Keiichi Morisato: Of course everyone is laughing at us... Why wouldn't they? What happened to us that night is ironically twisted, and from a distance, on an emotionally detached level, it's kind of funny.
Belldandy: Keiichi... no... that's terrible.
Keiichi Morisato: Mel Brooks said it best. If a man breaks his leg and can no longer work, it's a tragedy... but if a man accidentally falls down a manhole and dies... it's a comedy. Belldandy... we're living in a generation where everyone has been desensitized by youtube freak accident videos. When you watch some guy's eighteen wheeler fail to pass under a bridge overpass on youtube, you think it's funny. But imagine how horrible that was from the driver's perception when he lost his job.
Belldandy: Keiichi... I did want you all of these years... These people who are laughing at us... they don't know what it's like to want to be with someone they love and never completely have them... They don't know what is is to want to have children with someone you love, and to have everyone in society tell you it's wrong... Keiichi... I love you... and I am so deeply sorry that it had to end like this... This is so much worse than tragic irony... this is completely heartbreaking.
Keiichi Morisato: Belldandy... when I'm gone... please don't let my death ruin the humor in your life... because it's the most beautiful thing about you... and please don't let my absence ruin the love in your life... because seeing a Goddess without love would break all of our hearts... When I met you, I had nothing... and being married to you for these past twenty three years has been a life worth living... even when we lost everything... at least I still had you... and that has made me truly fulfilled. That is the story of my life...
Belldandy: Oh Keiichi... you'll never know just how many times I've been through this in my lifetime... You weren't my first love... there have been so many over the centuries... but in the end, my memory can only hold out for so long... They say that love can endure... but when you live forever... eventually you're forced to deal with the time that you've got... and accept the time that you're living in. I try to remember them all... Oh God how I try... but they always slip away... like fragments of a lost dream... fading into the wind...
Keiichi Morisato: And what about me... will you remember me?
Belldandy: No... it kills me to say it... but I know it's the truth... it's my curse to bear, not yours... but that doesn't mean I won't try... oh God how I'll try... Do know that I'll always love you Keiichi Morisato... now and forever. I will always love you...
Kevin from the Other Dimension: Keiichi passes out... and doesn't wake up. We see the heartbreaking look on Belldandy's face.
Belldandy: Goodbye Mr Keiichi... I had a wonderful life with you...
