Just watch 1st episode and so far I like it! It sort of clumsy multibillionaire business couple hiring a group of independent group of military mercenaries with special skills. It like a personal private CIA agency operation that is being run so far by the multibillionaire business couple. They go on a mission to find stuff and hunt for information. Use high tech gear for their investigation. Money to open doors. It an adventure, espionage, action, detective drama, comedy.
I chuckle at all the interaction between the team. I am in love the blonde lady mercenary. Will continue to watch this series because it is different.

It's really bad in about as many ways as possible but kind of watchable in a sense that you're interested in how bad they can actually make it
Now I'm not hateful person and, since I chose for some reason to watch this show, I feel I have to find some reward for those poor souls involved - * I felt the theme music, which was dangerously close to plagiarising the Avengers' theme tune, was the best part of the show and it was used frequently enough throughout each episode to turn it into a bit of an earwig * Some of the locations were very beautiful * The end credits were very clear and easy to read

This show is more of an series you have on in the "background" for me. I can do other stuff and still pay attention. It's easy to watch, not the best norbis it the worst. I do thing the dialogues are very bad at times. It's nice to see Wellington back on screen. Brandon Fraser have been my all time favourite acter since I was a kid, its nice to see him back on the screen as well. I have big hopes for him. I don't think I would have watched this series if Fraser wasnt in it.
So, if you want a serious serie, this is not the one for you. Its simple, but still good, bad dialogues, funny jokes. Nice show to relaxe to.

Yes, cast and acting are ok, but script, direction and cutting ist really awful. There is no plot, all scenes are in confusing order, it's like a music video with overdriven actions scenes. Every episode is a test of patience.

Whoever greenlit this show either hates TV as a medium or has something personally against Brendan Fraser. I mean, they had to have read the pilot script right? What were they thinking? Fraser is a hell of an underrated actor but he can't save mindless, hopelessly convoluted, piffle like this. And that's a shame. Several of the supporting actors were very good. It would have been nice to see anyone in that cast at least be given some decent dialogue to read if they were going to be held captive in these gawdawful plotlines. It's just a damn shame all around that anyone found themselves in a place of such abject desperation that they would agree to help make "Professionals" happen.

Show is made like they were in the 90s or 2000s, but it is missing an identity and uniqueness. Think of Renegade, Highlander, The Invisible Man, Burn Notice. They have a unique character that can make every filler episode and cliché still somehow entertaining and interesting to watch. This show doesn't. I expected that Tom Welling and Brendan Faser would bring it, but so far they don't, they are poorly written. But still they are the only reason I'm watching it, hoping for something, anything. But I'm afraid it's a lost cause.
But it doesn't necessary mean a bad thing. It's possible that the whole purpose of this show is like a target practice, to see if our favorite Tom and Brendan are still live and kicking and capable of something bigger, before they set any plans in motion. Think of it as an audition.
Because that's what I would do, because personally I see a potential in them.

I say this after watching the whole season 1 in one go. Let's be honest, the pilot is terrible. But it's a pilot so we give it a discount. It gets better but it's all on Fraser and Welling. They find their footing halfway through the show and their chemistry works. The secondary cast is weak, dialogs sounds forced and storytelling gets a bit confusing at times. Better or more experienced actors could have improved the bad writing. But it's watchable, some gripping moments and laughs and it has potential for season two. It's no Strike Back even with the strong resemblance but it entertains. ...

I agree with the other reviewers that this really is a terrible show. The bad dialogue and script really did them in but also the main actors with Welling and Fraser they just don't know how to act. The cast chemistry was embarrassingly bad, creating awkward situations. It's amazing how the screenwriters, directors and casting directors have managed to put together an extremely weak story line and group of actors. I believe they along with the director of photography and camera people should have a long think about their future as these roles are obviously not their calling. The show tries to be a bunch of things from comedic to action and it falls flat. The character beats are as emotional as a wet sock thus creating no interest in any of the characters or the relationships. In my opinion they should have saved the money and uninspired effort and given the money to the worlds starving.

It has Brendan Frazer's charm and enthusiasm, and Tom Welling's beautiful face, so I enjoyed it. Is it flat in spots and a bit predictable. Sure! Is it great TV, no, but it is definitely a fun watch. Lots of action, some trite dialogue and the back ground music is OTT on occasions but the story is good, there are some good plot twists, and the premise is rather cool. Don't know why so many have rated it so badly, as it is a nice enough show to veg out too and there is certainly always room for Brendan Frazer's goofy charm.
An entertaining show , the editing is a bit all over the place , but it a fun story with lots of action . After the first few episodes the actors have more chemistry Welling and Fraser play their parts well . A fun show the family can enjoy . Don't understand all the nasty low reveiws .
The cast is ok, acting is ok, but the script is awful.
The characters are totally unbelievable.
If you are very easily entertained you maybe ok with it, but it is just one stupid scenario after another. Are the writers 12 years old.
I have given it a chance and have seen 4 episodes and can tell you it doesn't get any better than the first episode.
For the reviewer who thinks those knocking this show are Brendon Fraser haters; if that was the case I wouldn't have watched it in the first place. Personally I don't care who is in a show, it is about the final production.

It is a good watch Nothing is over the top or under it
It is easy to follow and understand and plenty on action and mystery.
If there is more season's to come I am sure it would be good.

It has the ingredients to be a decent show. Some of the casting differently doesn't fit. I gave the pilot some room for error because pilots always are a little jumpy. The second episode was a huge improvement. But this show has a long way to go before it becomes a interesting show to watch. Being a Tom Welling fan is keeping me in there. Also I expect more from a vet like Brendan Fraser as well. Let's just see where this season takes us.

This was a huge let down, as an avid Brendan Fraser fan I decided to watch this resulting in being absolutely mortified by every minute of it. I would have given this negative stars if that were in any way possible. This has to be one of the worst shows I've seen in years. The premise and the unravelling of the plot is absurd. The stiff and wooden performances are, at best, distracted as is the direction. Cheap production values, a horrific script filled with cliché after cliché, laughable acting, there isn't one redeemable thing. This wasn't a funny kind of bad. It was just plain bad. Don't. Just. Don't.

This reminds me of the 80's shows in regards to most of the script and camera work. While the action sequences are not as over-the-top as you see in most shows today, they are more believable to actually occur. Basically, no crazy, both feet off the ground, acrobatic false fights that seem to dominate action shows now. The script is lacking in chemistry. There's very little acting passion (no I'm not talking about sexual passion which they thankfully left out of the show), it's pretty dry. They do try to add some humor, but because of the poor script it usually falls flat. I think if Brendan and Welling really put their heads and experience together, work with the writers, then they can make season two (if they get a second season) much better.
Who in the right mind gave funding for waste of time? Even Magnum PI is better then this.
Dont waste any of your valuable time.

I find it really enjoyable because they don't take it seriously. The chemistry between Welling & Fraser is great, the Europol guy is funny, the cartoonish evil siblings are the perfect villains in this combination. I would never watch it if it was a serious show. It reminds me of the 80s, like A-Team and some of those movies back then.

This an old achool action series. Don't watch for the drama or acting. Just watch as a brainless entertainment. The banter between Brandon Fraser and Tom Welling is fun to watch, the action is decent. Just a brainless enjoyable entertainment. Like watching a B movie in TV series format.

It would have been an 'ok' show in 1985, but man it reaks of on the nose, quipy unfunny dialogue, horrible cheesy soundtrack, yawn worthy cinematography and flat non-dimensional characters.
Cring worthy at best, better to go back and watch Burn Notice or A-Team, or any 80's or 90's action show, at least you'll enjoy the retro-ness of them~!

So upon starting the show a few days ago I was able to get straight into the storyline and action. There are many bad reviews stating that the writing is bad the effects are bad the storyline is bad, but there are even more great 10 star reviews. My issue with the reviews are people read shows and films terrible but you have to look at the production value as well as the douceurs and the directors and even the actors, this could be a first time project for many of those individuals. For what it's worth with the low budget this show is quite fantastic! You can't just say a show is bad because it has bad writing or the acting is bad. Let these first time film creators have a chance.

Watchable entertainment nothing more , still better than any "reality" crap out there , and really do people have to put down Brendan Frasier because he gained weight ? he did a fine job with what he was given , they can't make up for lack of direction or script
Obviously a foreign production, many a desperate actor has gone outside the Screen Actors Guild union for work, which is grounds for expulsion or massive fines.
Neither actor has the looks which fueled his rise to fame, so the answer is "substance." While Brendan Fraser has exhibited advanced acting skills with directors such as Bill Condon or Paul Haggis, his instinctive acting choices are sadly broad and seem to rely on a physicality and youth he no longer possesses.
Tom Welling has always been an acting ingenue and didn't bother to hone his skills. While he's still a handsome man, there is no maturity. Even his verbal delivery lacks maturity.
For those who gave this stinker scores of 8 or 10, the stars are grateful to you.
I am giving it a 2: a point for trying and point out of pity.
