Actress Yasmin Monet Prince (Clara, aka Girl 249) was tasked with making her character move as if she'd never seen the way that "normal" people move, having been raised at Utrax.
Hanna's return to Utrax brings the series full circle, with Hanna revealing to Girl 249 that she has a name (Clara) and a family she's been unaware of.
According to writer-producer David Farr, the young women seen at Utrax in Episode 108 could potentially be used in future stories.
In Episode 108, we see Utrax 16 years after we first saw it in the "Hanna" pilot episode. The facility has a much more modern look. The new visual approach to the modern-day Utrax was led by director Anders Engstrom.
