Watch it for yourself! Don't trust the crap reviews
leahbia28 May 2019
Full disclosure, I'm a huge fan of this show from the pilot episode to present. This particular episode is one of the funniest of the entire series so far. Part of the episode plays heavily off of Hunter S. Thomas' "Fear and Loathing".. but in freakin space! The writing is on point (as always, arguably one of this show's strongest features), the humor is slightly more immature but I feel that's necessary given the context of what's happening in this episode. If you've been a fan of this show, I can all but guarantee you'll like this one too. Ignore the garbage 1 and 2 star reviews. This is a intricate show with complex themes and storylines 6 years in the making.. there's clearly no logic behind giving it 1 stars. Unless you absolutely hate the genre/show.. in which case wth are doing watching it?

Awesome

After the mediocre last season, the show is back on track. This was one hell of a fun episode that left me cursing and screaming at the television in its final moments - that cliffhanger was intense!!!

Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson

Warning: Spoilers
As a gambler I was obviously going to love an episode that featured intergalactic gaming, but even the high scenes with Daisy and Simmons were not as bad and I usually can't stand episodes that feature characters drunk or high for laughs.

Definitely a good episode.

Crazy good!

Oh my God this episode is just pure craziness in the best way possible, the acting, the music, the visuals were all off the charts, and amid the craziness we get a hint at what the motivations for the villains of this season will be. I am so proud of this show pulling off such an episode, I expect it will be divisive but I say go big or go home!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is a pure wild of space team. 100% out of earth with no sight of earth team at all.

Daisy and Jemma scenes are THE BEST. Enoch and Fitz are good as well! Best episode so far and make it to my top 10 most liked episode! Cant wait for next episode.

Although i guess they'll make a reunioun on ep5, so no more Fitz Simmons on next episode :(

This episode could have been a whole movie as far as my house was concerned. We've watched it three times already. Comedic timing, fabulous script and character connection all fabulous. Props to the direction and set people as well. Take a chill pill and enjoy this great ride.

This has to be one of my favorite episodes of ANY series of any time. Thoroughly enjoyed the plot, the humor and the curves thrown in along the way. Well done! Looking forward to seeing how the arc of the season develops.

Not Bad but Not Great
Anonnamus17 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know what is going on with this season, but I'm not crazy about it. I honestly didn't even know there were another two seasons, as I thought the season 5 finale was the series finale. I was delighted to learn there were two more seasons, though I was questioning if AoS could continue without Coulson, as he IS S.H.I.E.L.D. Luckily, Clark Gregg is still in the picture, only as a different character. Ish. I can't help but think he's a mild-mannered accountant playing dress-up in this new role. Maybe it's because he has such a nice face. Beginning with the first episode, season 6 has felt more like a cheesy spin-off of AoS rather than a continuance of the epic journey they are on.

Enoch and Fitz are two wonderful characters, and I enjoy their adventures as they wander around the universe dressed as Ghostbusters. Their little foray into the other-worldly casino was quite funny, though Enoch suddenly acting more human and displaying self-pity and affection for Fitz was a little jarring. Still, they are entertaining and still for the most part, in character.

My issue was with the Daisy/Davis/Simmons storyline. First of all, Simmons's bangs are a travesty. She's a gorgeous girl, why the stylists are trying to turn her into a poor 11 year-old orphaned waif is beyond me. I can overlook the bangs. I cannot overlook the sudden complete change in characters when they decided to steal some colorful looking items in a jar and eat them. They didn't even know it was food, they were on a planet they've never heard of, and they just had a confrontation with a couple of not-the-greatest aliens. Davis, I can get past. We don't know much about him. That being said, in what world would the usually level-headed Simmons and Daisy ingest something they know nothing about? Whatever. The hijinks that happened afterwards was mildly amusing, although I couldn't help but think I was watching a parody through the entire episode.

I will watch this through to the end because I love the show, I'm aware not every episode is going to be a winner. I'm invested in each of these characters and can't wait to see where their path leads, but I do hope we get back to a little more normalcy with team dynamics and back to the Shield we all know and love.

Fun and decent.
cruise0121 September 2019
3.5 out of 5 stars.

A decent fun episode. Focusing on Simmons and Daisy searching for Fitz on a alien casino planet. While Fitz is at a high risk gambling casino. Fitz and Daisy get high accidently and are trying to find him. While a bounty hunter is also looking for him. Its a lot of fun. Daisy is awesome in fighting. But can be anti climatic.

What happened?
donkeyapplechess25 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Really though, what happened? In this shows entire lifetime there has not been a worse episode than this one. The dialogue was awful and cringeworthy, the plot was about as cliché as it can get, the story went no where and they somehow made every character except Fitz to be incredibly annoying. If their is anything redeeming about this episode, it is the actors attempts to do the best they could with the limiting script they were given. The writing is so lazy for this episode that at one point all characters, including the supposed brilliant scientist and coder, willing eat an alien, colored rock because they think it looks good. And surprise surprise, the rock turns out to be the alien equivalent to acid. Who could have guessed? All in all, I'm throughly disappointed in this episode and can only hope things get better from here.

Sometimes you just have to have fun with...
SureCommaNot6 September 2020
Certainly never seen an episode of AoS like this before!-silly and fun and very very predictable. It succeeded at what it set out to do. Sometimes you just have to have fun with the characters and let loose a little. It's a one-time watch for me.

"Little monkey-Fitz! ... Hey, I think my parents at mice."

There's a rule in storytelling.
wms-9274122 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
If it doesn't advance the storyline, or reveal something about character(s), you leave it out.

Jemma and Daisy acting stoned added absolutely nothing except, perhaps, humor, if one likes stoner humor. I was embarrassed to watch two fine actresses reduced to acting like they were high. This subplot about the hallucinogens wasn't needed at all, and in a better program would not have been included.

Aside from this, the episode was fine. The relationship between Fitz & Enoch was advanced and the threat posed by "Sarge"/Coulson gets more real all the time.

How can this show make such an abysmal epsiode like that?!?
contact-8927 May 2019
I have been enjoying this series since its very beginning. The writing, directing really improved from season to season and my enjoyment really grew with time. But this new season 6 started strangely, but now with episode 3, I can safely say it was the most awful episode EVER. It's extremely bad on so many levels.... Unimaginative, truly bad dialog, star wars ripoffs, awful humor, really, really dumb all over. Seriously, get back with the previous team (cause I can't believe it's the same), or course correct this incredible mess that the show has just become. This is the type of episode that could easily make me drop it in an instant. If it continues like that, I won't even be sorry that I left it.

A Truly Aweful Episode in a Really Stellar Series
skip-9875626 May 2019
Well, it had to happen sooner or later, i guess! ThankGod this kind of stupid, childish writing is Not the norm for this incredible series..Its as if all the great writers that have done consistantly fantastic ,creative work , suddenly took a day off and some silly high school kids with a bad sense of humor thought they would try their hand at writing an episode....Not good! This exactly reminds me of another series called Xfiles which tried to come back for seasons 10 and 11 and really blew it by having mediocre episodes in what was a ground breaking series originally..The xfiles episode called Babylon in season 10 episode 5 was cringeworthy and probably done by the same kids that tried to write this one...it had mulder tripping on magic mushrooms and was about as bad as an episode could get...I LOVE agents of shield and this review is critical only because I know you can do better and episodes like this just dont belong in this series, its degrading to what this show has built..I honestly dont think in the shows history that there have been any really stupid episodes like this before, lets make Sure that this never happens again...

As bad as it gets
larosaj-2666626 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Anybody rating this over a 4 is not playing with a full deck. See what I did there in relation to this dreck of an episode? Gets one extra star for Daisy's beauty. Discombobulated nonsense with characters acting all kinds of stupid. Farscape had a few of these and they were the worse. Guarantee that if anybody gave this show a try watching this episode they would never watch it again. TV doesn't get any lower than this. Abomination.

Dumb, cliché and lazy
StudioElluf18 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
All I have to do is explain what happens in this episode to understand how bad this episode is: Daisy and her crew arrive at a planet in deep space because of a egoistic act of Jemma, but all is forgiven very soon. Fitz and Enoch go gambling at a casino. Enoch wants to be BFF's with Fitz and Daisy and Jemma get really high on alien candy.

That's it, that's basically the whole episode. There's nothing in this episode that you haven't seen before, but better, somewhere else and in the end it didn't even move the story forward. So what was the point of this whole episode?

Dumb decisions by everyone in this episode, annoying characters, poor attempt to be funny, non existing character design for the aliens (they are on a ALIEN planet in very, very DEEP SPACE and all you can see is humans, who aren't supposed to be humans but clearly are) and bad dialogue full of cliché.

Hope the rest of the season is better.
