More participation to the former commissioner

I would like to see a chapter where Grandpa Reagan had a story where he could solve a case or at least some involvement and not relegating him to a position where he seems to be 'left over' in the show.

Grandpa interferes

In this Blue Bloods story Len Cariou turns out to be a witness to an automobile accident. Only it wasn't no accident and it's grandson Donnie Wahlberg who catches the case. For Cariou it's an excuse to get back in the swing of things, but Wahlberg doesn't like him looking over his shoulder. Yet it is Cariou who overhears something another witness said that provides a solution to this and a subsequent murder.

Being a parole officer carries a tremendous responsibility because your charges have no rights and you own them. Will Estes and Vanessa Ray come up on a corrupt one in this story. They go above and beyond to take him down.

Bridget Moynahan is concerned that daughter Sami Gayle might want to go into law enforcement not a career she wants for her, but it's almost a Reagan obligation. Her concerns are real when she reveals them.
