I was a bit disappointed with this episode of this previously balanced and insightful program.
A number of ideas were presented as fact without providing any proof. Essentially the "Russia is bad and instigated these hacks in order to...... something" position. "Everyone knows", was the reasoning behind pinning it on them, but the whole episode and the next one were just plain vague. Russia who? like the whole country, the whole govt, Putin personally, To what end? To get Trump in? How did they do it? what did they do? Just a real letdown of an episode after the other great pieces by this program. "Everyone knows, just trust us, it's true" is really just not good enough for this programs previous high standard of investigative journalism.
I have no objection to believing what they say, but it needs to be proven and insider gossip as conclusive proof really doesn't cut it. "It's too hard to prove but we know". Sorry, not good enough.
The next couple followed the same path and then luckily the last few got back on track to presenting a wide range of perspectives. News and ideas without agenda is what we need in the modern world.
