Re-Animator: An Interview with Richard Band (2002)
*** (out of 4)
RE-ANIMATOR composer Richard Band is on hand for this fourteen-minute interview that has him talking about his work on the film. If you're a fan of the movie and the score then you'll certainly enjoy this featurette because Band goes into very good detail about the score. He not only talks about what instruments were used but he also goes into detail about how the music was written and created. He also talks about his relationship with director Stuart Gordon and how they worked together to get something that would suit the film and make each other happy. There are several good stories told here so fans are obviously going to want to check this out. Band has recorded a few other interviews about this film but this one here was the first and contains plenty of good information.
