Aly Mang attended James Franco's Master Class, where she learned the art of writing and developing a feature length anthology film. Through improvisations, readings, workshops, and screenings, students collaborated throughout the course to create films that exemplified bold, sophisticated storytelling. The Master Class concluded with the making of feature-length film, produced by Rabbit Bandini.
In addition, Aly played roles opposite James in his AOL Original Series, Making A Scene and in an episode he Directed for HBO's, The Deuce. These experiences inspired her to get out from in-front of the camera as an actor, and create her own content. "Roaring Tides" is Aly's first solo, shot-film project.
