Gremlins again!
ericstevenson22 September 2017
This show had already done a parody of "Gremlins" but who says you can't parody the same thing twice? What's notable is that this parody is actually quite different than the original. Instead of having baby turtles take on the roles, we have the Watterson kids do it and actually take on the appearances of Gremlins! This episode is also great because we learn more about why Richard is important. After being labeled Employee Of The Month, Nicole tells Richard he can do nothing to show how little he contributes. Turns out the house is actually chaotic without him with the kids literally turning into monsters.

I'm glad Nicole got the recognition she deserved. The funniest part is probably when Richard shows how he gets the children to dry off after bathing. He puts this heavy metal music on and they shake it all off! There's another great bit where we see Darwin as a gremlin about to marry Carrie with Nicole's wedding dress! I'm glad they're showing more of their relationship even if it's only briefly. While not as good as the original "Gremlins" parody, still hilarious. I really don't see what this had to do with a deal, however. ***1/2

Gremlins & Jurassic World! Nuff Said.

Gremlins & Jurassic World! Nuff Said.

The singal most episode of any show that demonstrates what it is like to be a parent! Nicole gets her recognition at work... and Richard gets to feel and hear appreciation for his contributions at home to the family. Life without either would absolutely not work.

The rub is that each of the children show there "natural unsupervised selves". Appropriately named Blue, Orange, and assumably Pink - "clever girl".

Richards methods of taming the children may be HILARIOUS, but he gets the job done. AWESOME EPISODE!!!
