Nothing worth watching

A horse and carriage couple are murdered and some guy tries to steal from them but Cheung Ching-Ching uses magic to steal the bundle from him. Cut to the tea house in the middle of nowhere and some guy is looking for his brother but his sister in law won't help. Got Siu-Bo likes wine. Cheung rides in, as a man. The guy who killed the two in the first scene arrives. He is the long lost brother and husband. After abusing his wife he challenges Cheung. The fight is poor and then interrupted. By 40 minutes in some masked guys are fighting a white eyebrows guy to rob him.

This is a movie that would only draw the attention of a hard core fan of martial arts movies. I am such a fan on a mission to watch every martial arts movie from the golden age 1967 to 1984. I came across this movie as a computer file. The source seems to be a VHS tape as the picture is square and has hard subtitles in Chinese over English.

It took me two efforts to slog through this movie. The pace drags as every scene is drawn out. The supporting characters add nothing to the story except over-acting and silliness. The fights are slow with poor focus and no power. They are also short and that is actually a good thing.

I watched this once to say I did and will never watch it again. I can't think of a reason to recommend this movie to anyone and rate it low.
