The Look and Feel of Real. Not your Bunny.

I loved how I was engulfed from the very beginnng with the establishing shot. Slow, thoughtful and revealing. The director touched my anger, definitely and he allowed me to sustain it, or live with it, but yet present a glimmer of hope at the end without the "Disney" ending. I was prepared to be mad and betrayed at the end, lol, but I felt like i got a glimpse of somethig positive. Tao is the glimmer of hope for society. His actions were out of love, respect and humble pride, not fear, misunderstanding, and priviledge. I loved the scene with the main character musically inspired and his own surprise! Was a great example of the basic human spirit in us all, the things we can accomplish when surrounded by love and respect, even on a level of simple "common courtesy". The contrast to the feel of the scene of the "full house" and the feel of the scene alone with daughter was glaring. Y'know, So many of us, in fact all of us in some way have been touched by Cancer. Watching also stirred up some of those emotions and respect for how he wanted to live out his last days. Cinematography , editing, acting, etc, all top notch! Nice job everyone!

Rajiv Shah is the director Hollywood needs to take notice...or not.

This movie really touches every subject. Aging, Taking care of the Elderly, Racism, Unresolved Family issues. It's hard to believe it's a Short Film because it felt like a Feature Length film...IN A GOOD WAY. That's due to having a good director and storyteller like Rajiv Shah. I'm really proud of his past work and this current project. Can't wait to see what he has next. Keep up the good work.

The cinematography was absolutely stellar!! I found the story interesting, I was anxious to see what was going to happen next, and the actors' performances were both solid and believable. I can't say enough about the look and feel of the film. Truly impressive! Well done, and I very much look forward to the next project from the filmmaker!

Really strikes a chord in viewers

This is a beautiful movie about various relationships a person establishes throughout their lives and displays how we are changed and molded throughout life based on situations we encounter. We have 3 main characters and each displays something different and the movie makes you question where they are coming from. And it makes you feel for them. For a short film, this movie was really able to capture a good deal of depth of the characters. I highly recommend taking time out to watch this.

There were so many poignant moments of life. Personally relatable film for anyone. Pacing and music was perfect. Professional moving actors /characters all carrying their own tigers. Thank you.

The Way Life Goes

Sometimes not everything in life is so cinematic. Often times we spend time wishing we did things differently and we can explore those alternate stories through film. But what Rajiv does in this film is actually explore that feeling. That feeling of regret, that slowness that is the process of death. Not everything in life is a huge moment, sometimes they're little moments with their own significance if not more than those big events. From the cinematography, writing and flow of the story there are many great reasons to check out this short!
