- At the time this Living Books PC game came out back in 1992, Mr. Ratburn's sexual orientation was unknown, then in 2019, Mr. Ratburn came out as a homosexual in the Arthur TV show episode "Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone". He married a man in the same sex wedding ceremony. There's nothing offensive in this PC game as this is a kid's game.
- Mr. Ratburn is a cross dresser as the player clicks on his legs he wears a Scottish dress kilt.
- The principals pants falls down on the stage revealing his polka dot underwear before he pulls them right back up.
Violence & Gore

- Although this is a non violent education game. Some comical violence can be seen if the player clicks on objects with a mouse, including shows a cookie creature coming to life and eating another cookie. Also the flour gets shot by the arrow which spills flour and falls to the floor. The classroom can be seen with the explosion. Also DW can be seen crashing her tricycle at Arthur's tree house.
